Castles in the Sky touched me
I cried when I beat Abyss(first heavy song)
Tsugaru made me cry(First Cata)
5.1.1 just brought me to tears.

ummm...frequently my contacts dry out while I'm playing. that causes them to get teary...especially when they fall out...then I'm definitely crying cause I have to go wash them and stick them in again after they've been on the nasty floor...

Eyes on Me Almighty Mix (from Dancemania Delux4) was, I believe, on the first 6th Mix songlist, but taken out, from what I know, due to a baseball licensing conflict with Square Japan. I hear that Square originally let Konami use the song, but after the roster conflict, Konami got the baseball roster license, but lost the song.

Moonlight Shadow was the first one that got to me. I first played it at the Sony Metreon when they still had their 5th Mix machine. I thought "Wow, a neat song". Another thing that made the song neat was that I played it when it was night, and the Metreon has gigantic windows, so you could see the moon... Then a couple months later, I heard they got rid of the 5th Mix there, and I couldn't ever play Moonlight Shadow there again with the sight of the moon overhead... I was sad. I think Moonlight Shadow is the only one that makes me get teary eyed. Other songs that I think are beautiful, and could possibly bring me to tears, although they wouldn't be sad tears are:
Heaven
i feel...
So Deep
Tears (haha)

Moonlight Shadow is a really sad song. I just heard the full version and my throat has that felling you get when you want to cry! Also, Dam Dariram is a song I totally relate to. When I first heard the song I was like that's so sad because it's familiar. It's one of my favorites too! So Deep is a beautiful song too. It always seems to calm me down and focus on my self. Weird! Another calming song for me is bag. Like a lot of people go on about not liking it or that it's annoying but it really makes me feel good and at peace. Another one that got me choked up was Healing Vision ~Angelic Mix~. The whole dying and then suddenly coming back to life really got me. It still sends chills down my spine whenever I hear it!

I don't think any DDR song has made me teary-eyed(not even Moonlight Shadow), but some have made me feel really sad:

-Memories("Let me forget you, the one I love")
-Remember You(Especially the DDR Extreme credits version)
-Hero ~KCP Discotique Mix~ (I dont know why it made me feel sad, probably because it was at a slower tempo)
-V(Mostly the very end when the violin holds out that last note)
-Graduation
-In the Heat of the Night

Look At Us - That song... just... *sniff* so beautiful... here's hopes of getting it on Extreme US...

I recently heard i feel... (New Age Hope Mix)... that was emotional.

Anyways, though it doesn't really bring tears to my eyes, the song with the most meaningful lyrics for me is Do It Right, especially the following lines:

God above sends His love to those who see His light
Even if you don't know, He's been there for you, too
Did you think you'd get this far without His love?

Edit: I looked up the translation for Aoi Shoudou; that was profound.

After seeing the BM IIDX video for that song and reading the lyrics, I've officially decided that that song has the best lyrics of any DDR/Bemani song so far. E12.gif

so deeps sounds really sad sumhow. when i first got max 2 for ps2 and i want good on matt it was the first song i played. i failed miserably of course (controller) but the n i went into training mode and picked it apart till i could pass it. I love that song.... it is the best song eva. Era is almost as good but it needs harder steps with more CHAOS but anyways. there are a llot of songs in ddr with real sad lyrics but none that make me cry (no im not trying to sound macho or nuttin its just that nothing on tv or music/move (even the part in the lion kings where mufasa dies and the part where he comes back in the clouds) makes me cry) the thing at the end of max2 where they have the lil show with kind lady playin in the back makes me feel sad like that is the last time i play ddr then i remember all the fun ive had with it and feel down. then i hit start and keep playin and feel stoopid riiight.gif but anyways thats my 2 cents look up lyrics to songs when u hear em if u want a good cry.

Sync. It doesn't have lyrics, but this song is SO SAD. I almost cry when I hear it.

Lamour et la' liberte. The lyrics have THE most sad and deep lyrics in a DDR song. It's about all the colors and races of the world finally existing in harmony...

Colors. It's sad...

Rain of Sorrow "Got to hold on, got to keep it strong, you see all the things that we can do..." So sad... frown.gif

Moonlight Shadow: The lyrics... *sniffle*

Against All Odds (Definitive Mix)
Graduation (Each Tomorrow)
Hyper Eurobeat
I Feel...
I Was The One
L'amour Et La Liberté
Look To The Sky
Memories
More Than I Needed To Know
Rain of Sorrow
Remember You
Shooting Star
Vanity Angel
Young Forever

I don't know the English translation to Hold On Me and Pink Rose, but they sound sad.

With all the sarcasm in this thread I'm surprised nobody said Let Them Move.

dude, ultramix blows buttocks, so you can't let the steps fool ya.

Go play IIDX 6th style, and tell me "Ballad For You" aint emotional. And while I'm putting down all the Thomas Howard hater's out there, you can throw "Silent Hill" on that list too.
