Yes I am aware of that. The person hosting the panel had various vcds and vhs material on hand. Plus some soundtracks. And somehow talked an arcade manager into bring over there 2nd Mix. Basically, Mike wanted to have ever aspect of Para Para covered in case any questions arose. I think he did an excellent job. He managed to have a packed panel and everyone tried out the routine that was presented. _________________

I don't think so but you never know. At PPStage there was talk of trying to put together a panel or a demo of some sort but everybody has been busy and nobody is communicating. As for parapara related stuff maybe a couple of booths will sell parapara related materials, videos and music, or if we're lucky they can get a PPP 2nd Mix machine for the arcade; but I wouldn't get my hopes up though. |

I only played it a few times (when ever I go downtown to the japan arcade. I've never really seen it anywhere else, or at least anywhere that I can get to ) |

For some reason I find PPP extremely easy, and I'm not talking about just using your hands. For goodness sake I can A Ultra High Heels on Hard using only my knees
Anyways, I don't play PPP very often because there's only one arcade machine near me. I've maybe played it on about 4-5 different occasions.
Accomplishments:
Ultra High Heels on Hard: SS
velfare 2000 Hard: S (but a very high one )
Everything else: SS or SSS
Anyways, I don't know too much about PPP 2nd mix. so please inform me if there's anything harder than "hard" in the arcades. All I can find is easy, hard, easy nonstop, hard nonstop. (for freestyle mode) |

okaaay here we go again. I cannot stress this further enough. Para Para Paradise isn't like DDR where "Yay I AAA'd this or SDG'd that." A good score is just bonus. The performance of the routine is what matters. How accurate you are with your movements; how fluid you move; how much style and flair you have. I've seen guy that can get great scores on PPP; however, he did not follow the routine only do hand movement necessary to hit the arrows. He remained stationary. He looked like the cross between a robot and an constipated old man.
But anywho when playing one should focus on following the routine as accurately as possible. Remember PP was a game first... it was a style of group dance. My two cents. _________________

The one in GoodTimes is great, I drove all the way from New York City to play. I mean sure that's about 150 miles but hey, its better than the PPD down here. More places need PPP 2nd Mix |
