| Does beatmania work with a modded playstation? I know that the DDR mixes have the mod lockout and I was hoping it wasn't the same with beatmania. Thanks in advance. |

Of the Beatmania mixes I own, 2nd Mix and Gottamix do not have anti-mod protection but 5th mix does.
I was conerned about getting Gottamix at the time since I had heard it did have anti mod protection but I had no problems loading it after loading 2nd mix (all 3 Beatamania games I own are legitimate versions, not a burned copy so it's not that Gottamix loaded because it was a burned patched copy or anything) |

| Most modded PS(1)'s have stealth chips, anyway. Those get past mod protection. Have you got a non-stealth modded PS1 or a modded PS2? Those WOULDN'T work unless you patch the games. |

I have a modded PS1, but I don't know if it has a stealth chip or not. I just bought it yesterday off someone for $20. I'll see if I can find out if it's a stealth or not. |
