Well this song doesnt have much lyrics but the melody, how it sang, and the BGM worked real well. The song is Ghosts

I agree with the rest ecspecially Dam Darriam, I Feel, Remember You, So Deep, and all the others.

Oh ya heres two more songs..........

Ballad For You........(I cant stop thinking of that girl when I hear this song)
And Eyes on Me............(I heard this song was on DDR, This song is from Final Fantasy 8. Its really a teary song)

And if that song a 1000 Words from FFX-2 becomes a DDRsong then thats the #1 teary song ever!!!!!

I didn't think that so many people would take such a response to my post. I'm glad that you guys like it and are posting to it. I love seeing everyone elses "Teary eyed" songs. *Sniffle, sniffle*

I agree with "Remember You" being a tear-jerker. Especially if you hear the slower, sadder version of it. You know, the one that's on "DDR Extreme" for JP PS2 for the Credits. That song, along with the Clip Show of Ol' School DDR Past, Present, and Future (?). *Tear*

KEEP POSTIN'! E13.gif

I'd agree on Drifting Away... except it's a license. I've had it on vinyl since before Max2 was ever released. It's one of my favorite records... still makes people on dance floors get into the vibe... mmm... I'm going to put that on right now actually.

Anyway...

Era - just plain amazing
So Deep - ditto
Sakura - By far the best track released under RevenG
V and A - I'm a sucker for orchestral trance
Ecstasy - Brings me back to the big beat era
Maxx Unlimited - I couldn't believe a Max could be that pretty
Healing Vision - even better compared to the awful angelic mix

As for songs with lyrics...
Justify My Love
in my eyes
Can't Stop Falling in Love
Colors (overplayed, but the lyrics are nice)

And just because I have it on

"Drifting away...

Drifting away
I'm flying
I'm gonna head for paradise
Nothing to say
I'm climbing
I want to stay with you tonight

Drifting away
I'm flying
I'm gonna head for paradise
Nothing to say
I'm climbing
I want to stay right here tonight

Drifting away..."
~Lange ft Skye - Drifting Away

If you really like this song, check out Lange's Sunset Dub of it... no lyrics, but at least as beautiful. I opened a set with it once. hehe... okay, bed time.

Has anybody listened to So Deep on a speed of 1, just to listen to it? I think it sounds more beautiful that way. I seem to remember that few other instrumental songs sound better on slower speeds as well.

No singing. Slowed singing songs are messed up.

"I like to move it move it."
"I like to move it move it."
"I like to - MOVE IT!"

True ~radio edit~ only because of how she sounds, I dont know what shes saying and I've seen the lyrics and they're pretty sad. Also Moonlight Shadow gets me and the beginning of Healing Vision. E13.gif

Negative.

Why did you think I said "Celebrate"?

Celebrate is a good song.

I find that deep songs impact me more...that pretty much attain to reality and society, or the aspect of romance and love. Which are two passions of mine.

-L'amour et la Liberté - is the only one on my list. If you can understand Francais (French).

I found this song to be the most emotionally impacting song I've ever heard on DDR by far. It's a sad song to me, and reflects how society should live, and the saddest thing about this song, is that i know that society today will never change according to how this song's lyrics are spoken. (against rascism and discrimination) Paula Terry is very hard to understand in this song to me...and people that are fluent in French will probably get Larmes (which means tears plural) mixed up with L'amour (Love) which sounds very similar. (be sure to plug in the common sense for that one) And fit the word in the blank.

That's the only song.

Higher ~next morning mix~
There you'll be

Those songs are pretty emo, although nobody ever seems to play them (which is a shame because Higher's steps are really fun and both have an awesome melody)

I'd have to say Bye Bye Baby Balloon.
I just heard it yesterday while playing DDR Max at Ali Baba.
That song just got to me somehow.

Ah yeah! That too.

Music licensing is vile these days. Why can't we have more good licensed songs returning =\ Esp the licensed catas like No Limit

Oh, also add If You Were Here to that list, although that's mostly out of massive nostalgia than anything else (I used to whore it like crazy on Light back when I was trying to get good at five foots... also memories of a really incredible holiday, where I happened to discover DDR)
