I'm having fun with Free Mode, just playing around with the keyboard and all its effects. It's the closest thing to an actual keyboard that I can play until I actually get paid.
Today is a glorious day, for I have kept a combo over 100... 101 to be exact... damn, I suck. _________________

V = God, every fanboys' dream. I'm sorry, but can we talk about something else BUT V? It's like, one of the only classical songs any Bemani fanboy knows. Besides Kakumei. And maybe a few others.
And then Winter AND V? That makes no sense; it's the same damn song. Besides, I don't remember Winter being for piano, but rather for violin (unless there's some piano arrangement...which would make it practically V anyway).
Dual Edge: I always thought those were just "special" tracks they did, just for like an "OMAKE" sort of thing, rather than previews? They seem kinda tooooo easy to make it a KBM arrangement...? |
Okay, if you're here to step on other people's opinions, I can assure you we can do without. First of all...
Least 333. What sounds like crap to you may sound totally different to others. We're not trying to make a KBM just to please you alone. Don't like it? Tough. Mention something you do like. I'm sure others here would appreciate that more.
V/Winter. Like I mentioned, I would prefer Winter over V. That's why I put it in two different places. It's pretty obvious that these two would not go in the same game. I wonder if you've even played Vivaldi's Four Seasons. I'm talking about the complete Winter, not the butchered one Taka did. It sounds a lot different. Also, I mention V because it's a Konami Original, which would probably make it easier to be placed in the songlist rather than the actual Winter. Hope you thought about that. Winter and V...yeah...
The score for Winter (or the Four Seasons for that matter) was originally intended for orchestra, but I don't see that as a limitation.
You can gripe after you contribute.
EDIT: Absolute would be alright. Abyss sounds more practical. _________________

Hmmm...my list would have to go something like:
Candy (non-vocal version) w/ Multisession support of course
Burning Heat!
murmur twins
A
Secret Tale
BakaOrochi: Well, I'm not saying that's what they were made for, but it just bothers me that they would do something like make them but not make them playable. Especially Right on Time. |

Has anyone found that KBM machines, those that still exist at least, are going into disrepair? There's 3 arcades I go to that have KBM, one machine has Player 1 out of order, and the other one has a weird problem, the background music plays but the actual music of the notes you hit on the keyboard don't play...
I wish KBM was still...MORE in... _________________

dj Taka is overrated to an extent but looking over his work for the Bemani series he's created new, and unique songs never heard before; take absolute for example no other mix before the song was introduced had a song close to it. Unfortunatly many fans only know like one of his songs, mostly V, and always want it in every single game, like you people said before. This makes him overrated. |

Thunder by Lion Musashi (dj TAKA's alias) has become my favourite Bemani song.. or at least in the top 3. I think dj TAKA's songs in DDR were kind of killed and made him seem overrated, but I really like his other Bemani songs. _________________

V isn't exactly the DJ Taka represent... If anything, V didn't impress me when I heard it in IIDX before it was released to DDR...
Absolute, Distress, Abyss, Colors and Blueberry Stream are good. I want Blueberry Stream in all things... Heheh... Happiness is good...
Either way, I can't figure out how you can overrate an artist!

I hate to admit it but I think that Dynamite Rave was Naoki's best song. I know that the song is hated by many because it got overplayed but it has appeal and thats why everybody liked it at one time or another.
Back to keyboard mania, I'm really bad a streams of notes probably because I don't practice enough so is there anything I can do to improve besides just practicing. |

Wow, Blueberry Stream would be good. Didn't think about that one. Tangerine Stream for beginners. lol j/k. Yeah, someone mentioned Candy heart before, which probably would have made a great multi session. The song Depend on You (not to be confused with Thomas Howard's Depend on Me) has a discreet keyboard part in it, but alas it's there.
Mobo Moga - Just a simple song. Can't be clogged with ultra hard songs.
I'm Burning Up for You - More simplicity.
foreplay - I think I mentioned this before, but I forgot how the song goes.
I was gonna say R5, but I dunno... _________________

I never said I liked the guy... |
Mother of GOD. I AM NOT TARGETTING YOU. Stop interpretting my posts as attacks! Damn man, I should have been more offended when you practically called me inept in classical music knowledge (since all my life, I've grown up around Bach, Beethoven, Saint-Saens, Debussy, Mozart, Schubert, Rachmoninoff, Salieri, and other composers' music). 24/7 my radio has classical music on. And you had the gall to say I didn't know anything about WINTER?
Naoki: Overrated, I mean what Fighter965 said. But I don't know about "unique." I mean, his style is more trance-ish, and...I think his stuff is only big because of his name (although I do enjoy Votum Stellarum and wouldn't mind seeing that in KBM, otherwise most of his stuff are just..."eh." I didn't even think Frozen Ray was anything close to spectacular, but hey, it's a matter of opinion).
And Taka REALLY can't sing.

Is it better to play with two hands or one? I usually play with one hand, but songs like The Least 100 seconds, I just can't storm across the keyboard fast enough.
I got the game last weekend, I'm having so much fun with it.

Like IIDX, it's more of a preference thing. However, like IIDX as well, doubles will require both hands for both parts. _________________

Hi. I was wondering if the combo pack of Keyboardmania comes with a stand. The single keyboard I got in the black and white box didn't have a stand. Thanks. |

I don't think so.
Someone told me the same stand used in the Drummania home version works for the Keyboardmania keyboard.

Tyler got a KBM 3rd! Hallelujah! It's so awesome! I think it's the best Bemani out of all the ones there (Maybe due to the lack of IIDX?) but it's still sweet! I suck though...I barely survived the Sabre Dance on Easy...But I'll get better, I hope! One day, I'll be able to do real mode and all that Jazz, lol.
EDIT: A -The Angels-, a remix some kid at my school did for SM would rock on KBM! Heck, I'd take the Original A! |
