You are quite welcome. I don't expect any surprises, but then again, I'm still fairly new at this myself.

Grr... Ok... My soft mat JUST broke... today. There was a rip I never noticed before on the bottom and well... the left arrow just stops working. Now I have some ghetto buttocks "WIRELESS" pad which really sucks. Its very glitchy... No stores right now have a decent soft mat... So I'm just gonna have to wait =(... I still have Xbox I guess...

Hey Im pretty new to DDR so I bought two topway pads and MaX2 FOR ps2. iI was just wondering what the best mod for my pads would be? I dont want to have to replace them right away and I couldnt find a place on the site where they gave specific Topway mods. If anyone couldhelp me or link me to somewhere wth mods that woyuld be great.

Specific Topway mods! laugh.gif
There aren't going to be mods for every single brand of pad! Just look at the mods on the first page of this thread! Those are mods for those types of pads! Just duct tape the pad down to a piece of plywood and get a dance pad cover.

Yeah, it's pretty much safe. You really don't need a dance pad cover to play with shoes but it would help.

I hava a couple of MadCatz Beat Pad Pro pads and have not found any information other than "These pads don't work with this adapter" etc. - does anyone have one of these pads and have successfully connected them to a PC - USB or Parallel ? What specific adapter did you use ? I would have posted this in the Simulator Board, but I saw "ALL SOFTPAD DISCUSSION GOES HERE" so I posted here erm.gif

I've heard these pads are no good for use on the PC, but they hold up fine for my PS1 E1.gif

Any specific information anyone has would be greatly appreciated

The BNS DX is a good pad. I bought it with a pad cover and have been playing heavy with shoes on for about two months and there's not a single rip anywhere. This is probably the best pad you'll find for around $50.

I've got a mad catz beat pad.. not sure if its a pro but its a beat pad. I got it like 2 years but only started using it alot about 4-5 months ago, anyway its totaly falling apart, and does not work at all with my PC adpater I just got from lik-sang. I got the smartjoyPLUS adapter, which is suppose to work with ddr pads perfectly but not with mine E10.gif It works but about 50-60% of the steps I make do not register. Now this pad works pretty well perfect in 8thmix extreme for my PS2, and I really have no clue why this is.

I was looking around on the internet, and noticed that you can play solo mode on konamix, which makes me want to try it even more...
Anyways, will the red octane ignition pad work with solo, i know they arent diagonal arrows, but they are x and o. If it doesnt, will the level six ignition pad work(2.1 version)? If anyone knows a pad that works please tell me. E1.gif

I bought 2 BNS V2 pads and got 'em last Monday. I've had 'em for nearly a week and one of the pads is starting to mess up ( down arrow sticks and we just can't keep combos going for that long on it). I read somewhere that duct-taping the bottom of the arrow between the pad and the foam would help make it last longer, but it doesn't help much. And only one pad is doing it.

Is there any way to reverse the damage already done to the pad or I am screwed because I can't find my receipt thingy...

I bought a level six deluxe xbox pad version 3.1 and I love it, but the inserts for the raised buttons shift out of position after awhile of use, and it really hard, almost impossible, to get them back to their original spot. Anyone know how I can fix this problem?
