Naoki is insane for some of his songs...
song names that i find strange are:
EoTC or End of the Century...is it about the apocalypse?

Afronova Primeval...sounds like something from the 70s

Twinbee...i just don't get it

Sexy Planet...my fav. song, but what is it really about?

Maxs. (period)...what's the period for?

Cutie Chaser....chasing cuties?

Rhythm and Police...another good song, but wht do rhythm and police have to do with each other

Sakura... i have the meaning of it at home..still doesn't make sense

Tsugaru

Daikenkai..what's it mean?

Orion.78

A(renaissance)....good song

Stoic....what does the word have to do with the song

It's a remix to the NES shooter game called Twinbee...get it now?

..¤°ºamberº°¤.. wrote:

It's really about...SEX!!! (I bet you didn't see THAT one coming!)

..¤°ºamberº°¤.. wrote:

The period in MAX. (period) is rumored to signify the end of DDR (like a period is the end of a sentence.)

..¤°ºamberº°¤.. wrote:

It's the theme to a Japanese cop show called Rhythm and Police... emphasis on Japanese you know how wierd things get when they try to write in English!

..¤°ºamberº°¤.. wrote:

As said before it's a remix of an ancient Japanese song called Sakura.

..¤°ºamberº°¤.. wrote:

This song in nonsense no matter what language it's in. ("Nonsense language from a rotating head! People on the islands are sexing it up!")

..¤°ºamberº°¤.. wrote:

THE WORD RENAISSANCE IS NOT IN THE NAME!!11!111!!11oen!1!!!1! God, I wish Konami would release a DDR Extreme patch that takes the word Renaissance out of the song's BG.

I think 22 was Jordan's number? Maybe 23? Dunk? With Jordan's number, it ought be obvious.............

I think D2R should really be D^2R. The D2R might mean DDR, like two times D+R=DDR.

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

I'm almost certain that Sakura means Cherry Blossom. I'm not completely sure, but I seem to remember that from some Anime.

Isn't Sakura a japanese girl's name? (Other than being a old japanese song) E19.gif

It is indeed a girl's name, but also means Cherry Blossom, and is an old japanese folk song. @,@

No, Dancemania did that. They're CJ's Japanese record company, but it's from his 1st CD which (to my knowledge) was NOT released by Dancemania. Besides, it says Boy Oh Boy on the back of the CD case.

I think for some tracks, people are overanalyzing. When you don't have lyrics, you just have to name your songs based on the general feel, or try to put a story to it. Naming lyric songs is usually *far* easier. Most songs, I don't really think about the *reason* for the name too much as long as it seems to fit.

The only one I wonder about is A. It was initially released on the same mix as V (which we know the derivation of). But I'm assuming has a different derivation. Anyone know?

Oh yeah... and I figured out the real reason why Bag is thus named. People think it's because of the horribly-synthed bagpiping, but it's not. It's called bag because playing it makes you feel like you just took a major kick in the nuts. Am I the only one that's certain that this is the case?

Kakumei (I know it means revolution, but what's with the music?)

Kakumei is a remix of Chopin's Revolutionary Etude, hence the name.

D.J.J. ~C-fan style~, I think Schlagwerk is a German word. Somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Schlagwerk = Striking Mechanism.

But i still think it means a man working with his schlag.

About D2R I was pretty sure it stood for Dreams To Reality which is a whole different story.

Paranoia is a song about the end of the world from a nuclear war.

Rainbow Flyer is simply named to project a happy image. Watch the video.

Think ya Better D .. well, D means dance. Or, duh.

D2R means Dance Dance Revolution.

This isn't rocket science, people.

Whats up everybody! One song with an odd name to me is Holic. What/who is "Holic"? Sounds like some kind of gothic theme if you ask me. E19.gif
