I am currently looking to buy an old 5 key version beatmania machine. Problem is, I dont know if Im paying a good price for it, though I think I am...

Cabinate: Bad condition, though lights, speakers, and subs all working. Needs to be cleaned inside, becuase the 1P keys dont respond all the time. The cabinate is also a small one (Less than 5' 2" tall and about 3' 6" wide) compaired to the BeatMania Machines im used to seeing. Hell, my hand is bigger than the turntable on this thing, lol.

Mix: 3rd, and the game itself works flawlessly

I am currently looking to buy it for $350 now from my local arcade, and possibly trying to get an upgrade kit for it.

That also leads to another question: Will the daughterboard for some of the newer BeatMania games fit in the small cabinate?

I haven't had much experience with these things, but I'd say it's a steal at that price. $350 for almost any arcade game is pretty low, but especially for a Bemani game. I mean, crappy American game cabinets usually cost around there or higher. I'd say go for it, that thing could use some love. E13.gif

You could always buy it and just take the push buttons and try and make a kick ass ASC-style IIDX controller. Some places charge $350 for 7 buttons alone, and you're getting 10 plus a cabinet you can use for other things (or at least I think you can). If you're not paying any shipping costs then that's an excellent deal. I highly suggest you get the machine.

Edit: I noticed you said the 1P side doesn't respond all the time, but do they seem to be worn out, or do they just seem to need cleaning?
