I can't even load the game anymore I haven't played at all for the past few weeks, and now it just gets to the black screen before the "SCHOOL PLANET" screen, and then nothing happens at all. I sad. _________________

Okay, at least I am not the only one who can't log on right now. It goes black and I am sometimes able to see some box mentioning billing as I am closing it out.
Are they going to start charging people to play this in the future? I mean, it certainly is fun beating the hell out of Chinese and Malaysian people but I would much rather put my money into an actual IIDX machine, or at least an underage Bangkok prostitute. |

maybe someone already asked about this but when I click the red play button is says quote " you should download & install game full version", I don't feel like downloading 100 mb right now, can't I just play online? |

No, you need to download the 100 mb file to play online.
Oh, and it works for me now. Not sure why it wasn't working a couple days ago. *shrug*.

Stupid Joy2key, I can't get it to work. I have the EMS USB adapter, it's configured for my IIDX controller to ZSXDCFV but no matter what I do, I can't 'type' anything in notepad with my controller. Yeah I leave the program running in the background. The adapter works with BMDX when I tell it to use the joystick, but not with joy2key. |

alot of sounds that you would hear in ddr are probably stock sounds or royalty free sounds used by alot of producers to reduce costs.
but that's what i think anyways, can't know for sure now can we?
i think this was stated earlier.
oh, and o2jam is aight by me, the music download takes a bit too long but it's fun nonetheless, especially since threre's iidx near me. |
Yeah, I think that there are a lot of stock and/or royalty-free sounds/songs used by lotsa asian companies and possibly others. It might have something to do with that JASRAC thing( you can see it's logo on the back of every import game, they have something, at least, to do with sound) I have personally heard parts of music in the DDR series in two other places:
1) the "causing much mayhem, droppin' drama..." rap lyrics of Put Your Faith in Me is also featured in Enix's Rythm Action game Bust-A-Move. (Known as Bust-A-Groove in the US) You can hear it in Pinky's stage and there are more lyrics than those featured in Put Your Faith in Me.
2) in the anime series Golden Boy, on one of the episodes, Make a Jam! lyrics can be heard in the background.
I remember hearing others somewhere but can't think of it off the top of my head. Oh, well.
I'm still downloading the install exe... and hour and a half left at 63%... I wish broadband was available here...
Edit: ...I finally got it installed and I'm also suffering from that billing error message. How long does it usually take for the cdkey e-mail to arrive? or how long before it magically works on its own? I registered hours ago and wanna see what it's like to play. Any help would be...um, helpful! _________________

I can't seem to get past the first selection screen. It keeps telling me to go back to the webpage and log in again. Anyone else get this problem/know how to fix it? _________________

It says on their website that the amount of down-time at the moment is because they are fixing a lot of long-term problems. It should be ok soon. Also, has anyone else found gunbound's support emails really nice and polite? It makes a nice change from other support systems.. They all seem personally written _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]
