How's this for a funny idea: How about the good samaritans at Konami make a DDR mix with nothing but ska songs? One of my friends lives, breathes, and dies ska. I personally think it's funny. laugh.gif So, how 'bout it?

I always thought it would be cool if bands made CDs that would have DDR steps on them if you put them in a playstation.

Yes, I know it's crazy riiight.gif

Yes, I, too, have friends who are obsessed with ska. I don't think a ska DDR would be a good idea, though. Try to make one with Stepmania and see how they like it! That is a much more financially sound idea, I believe. E4.gif

ska is a mix between alternative (sortof) and jazz. Download the song Impression That I get by Might Might Bosstones, they are a pretty generic Ska band

Diversity tends to be a good thing. Making an all-ska version would be almost as laughable as making an all-rap version. Which, in turn, is almost as ridiculous as having an all-Naoki version (which they've almost done a couple of times).

Agreed, although I'd say Naoki is not limited to just one type of music
with his work...

Also, I see no love for ska, anywhere ever, save for some of my frinends who listen to it...

I think Ska would go better with DDR then "Rap". They already have "little doggy" and Ska a Go Go. I dont see any snoop doggy dog or 50 cent on my local DDR machine.

Let me be the first to say that RAP SUCKS OUT LOUD!!!!!!! goog.gif This is a creed that I have abided by since I first heard rap. And, another good ska band is The Aquabats. I heard a ****load of rap at one of my school dances, and RAP IS NOT DANCE MUSIC!!!!!!!!! An all-rap DDR game would make me just stop playing DDR and I would boycott all Konami products because of it frust.gif devil.gif . Feel free to hate me after this post. Frankly, I don't care. To close, I recently thought about it, and an all-ska DDR game would not be a good idea, but I still like it. Now an all-NAOKI DDR would be OK, but not really good enough.

Also, Tekked, I listen to ska, and so do most of my friends, so SOME people listen to ska E4.gif, so that makes your accusation invalid. As a matter of fact, you may be listening to ska and not even know it E1.gif . That happened to me, and it could happen to you.

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]
