I hear ya Perverted Lain, High School is High School. As long they're not more than two years younger than me.

As for the arcade, I have a virtually deserted Putt-Putt, on the occasional times when new (always young kids) people come in, my friends and I assert our dominance of the machine, crowd around it. When we see a young kid who genuinely wants to play, we invite them up and show them a thing or two even.

Sadly I must say part of the fault lies on some of the regular DDR arcade patrons. It is we who should take the effort to teach n00bs the proper DDR etiquette. I ain't talking about the respect stuff. naaaah... that's entirely different. I am talking about the token line procedures, shadowing, arrow tapping, etc. That asinine annoying crap that goes on. If no one takes a stand (politely and diplomatically) then the bad behavior will continue. And if we as regulars cannot do it I say take it to the arcade staff. So do care and will get rid of the bad ppl.

Or you can resort to other tactics... such as pissing off the n00bs, embarrassing the crap out of them. Fun stuff like that... but it ain't nice to do.

Yes, have you tried talking to these kids? It seems like they are interested in playing DDR, so maybe you could teach them some manners.

Also, everytime I see this thread I think of High School girls. "Must resist the temtation..." E15.gif

Give me a plane ticket and I'll be there. I've done it once and will be glad to do it again. I am generally nice about it... though I can scold/tell off in the sweetest calmest voice. It hurts so hard cause you don't see it coming.

Yeah the thread title is misleading. Resist temptation. We have drama in our arcade because of one particulary easy jailbait. My rule LEAVE THEM ALONE. Going to jail over some wanna be high school tease ain't worth it. No matter how easy they seem to be. If they look legal... CARD THEM! Teenage girls will lie through their teeth. I was one (loooong ago). I remember. They will use every attempt to deceive you and when you do get caught they will try to place most of the blame on you cause you're the legal adult and they're just a "young impressionable girl." Find a prostitute if necessary or get a tube of happy lube E1.gif .

I kind of have to agree and disagree. We do have to teach the young people manners, but I would have to blame the young people's role models. It is the role models who needs to teach them the facts of respect. I had to earn my respect when I was a newbie. It got me to move up to heavy in just a couple of days. I yielded, and shadowed the game in my head, and not have to follow with my feet. I know my limits when I am on the pad.

Oh...when I went into this thread I thought you meant girl jailbait.

"High school is high school." I'd still hit it.

yeah that was what i thought he meant too. i was expecting like "they always touch me while im playing DDR and one time i touched back and now im typing to you on a laptop from the prison cafeteria!" damn... this thread could've been so much more exciting.
