The nearest machine for me is still about 70 miles or so. One time, I took a five+ hour trip to Dallas to play DDR. In Japan, I'd just ride the train from Hirakata-shi (the Makino station to be exact) to the Shijou station in Kyoto and walk to the Papillon (the arcade's name). Counting all of the walking time, it was probably an hour and a half one way maybe. |

Nearest machine to me is less than 2 miles..but too far to walk.
There's no way my mom would drive me about 45 miles just to play DDR....she doesnt even like driving 15 miles... |

How can anything less than two miles be too far to walk? Strict parental guidance or something? |

I'd travel about 60 feet down the street to Electric Ave. _________________

I travel about 20 miles to the nearest arcade. I have the majority of the home versions so i'm ussually content with those. The nearest one is a DDRMAX2 so, if I need to play DDR extreme then i have to go about 75 miles. Anyway to answer the actual question. Hmmm. I'd say 150miles, maybe 180 tops. _________________

I would travel all the way around the world to play DDR if I had to, I'm so addicted XD but I don't, I have Konamix, max and max2 (thank god for xmas and distant relatives) but the nearest arcade (which I think is better than playing at home) is about a 25 min drive |

hell ya thats worth the drive, i would travel 3 hours to get to that arcade, even if it was 75cents for 5 songs, what mix is the machine though, i would only travel that far for an extreme, maybe a max 2 _________________

I don't know the closest ones here are all about 15 minutes from my house. (The mall, Putt-Putt, and Jungle Rapids.) And all about 5 minutes apart from eachother. There's 2 Extremes and a 3rd mix at Jungle Rapids.
I don't think I'd go too terribly far for DDR. Perhaps the Myrtle Beach/Columbia machines or the ones in Wilson or Winston-Salem. That's about as far as I'd go, though. And only because I know where those are...
Actually. I'd probably just play Stepmania or my DDR home versions on controller. Maybe if I really wanted to play, I'd go over to my friend's house who has the actual arcade pads connected to Stepmania. _________________
