It won it hands (or feet) down on the G4TV show Filter. Really, does anybody object.

The episode mainly only focused on Arcade Simulators, so that's probbaly the reason why games like Soul Calibur didn't make it on the list
BTW, the episode aired on friday, I think. They should re-air it sometime soon

Small correction, it wasn't "Best Arcade Game" it was "Most Intense Arcade Game". Focused more on games that "put you in them" so to speak... think games like Driving Games, Police 911, etc.

G4TV can be seen on Comcast TV
I have Time Warner/Digital Cable, and it's Channel 212 for me. but not sure on DirectTV

I guess DDR is the most intense arcade game going (save maybe Pump) so I guess it should win a category like that...
