Okay, I am thinking of making a flash movie with Burnin' The Floor....
It will involve Akira and Rage (No, this will not be ANYTHING like 'You Got Served'). I was thinking of posting the concept on here, but I am afraid of the haters... So yeah, this is fair warning:
IF YOU DO NOT LIKE GAY PEOPLE OR GAY CONOTATIONS THEN LEAVE THIS THREAD NOW
Now, this is for the open minded:
---- Opening here ----
1)The movie starts with Rage walking down a dimly lit road.
2)While he is walking he has flashbacks of the 'time' he had with Akira.
3)The camera fades in and out of flashbacks.
4)Mid-way through the song, Rage stops and remembers one precise moment with AKira.
5)After a few seconds of a flashback, Rage sees someone coming throw the darkness.
6)The person turns out to be Akira.
7)Rage shows a hint of a tear at the site of him.
8)Akira comes up and consoles him.
9)Whilst Akira is hugging Rage, we see a tear drop.
10)In the tear we see a mirror reflection of Akira and Rage walking off, holding hands.
11)Next cut shows Akira and Rage in the bedroom.
12)It starts with them kissing, and then they walk towards the bed.
13)They get under sheets, nude, and start making love.
14)At the climax of the song Akira/Rage (Whoever ends up on top) freezes, anime like.
15)As the song fades out, we see AKira and Rage in the bed, hugging, camera fades with song.

1) I am doing this because I am bored and haven't made a flash movie in forever...
2) I want to.
3) Because you hardly ever see any gay people in DDR stand out.
4) The hate mail = Meh to me, if they knew they were gonna hate it, they shouldn't have watched it.
5) I will have to hold it back cause I have a friggin project for Business Profressionals of America. -_-

It's good that you are creating a homosexually-tolerant video, but the way you make it sound, it sounds like it's emphasizing the sex instead of the mere acceptance of gays. There is a difference between porn and nonhatred. That's just my opinion. If you want to make it go ahead, but just to let you know I personally won't be watching it.

It isn't gonna be a porn  . It isn't gonna show them screwing and what not. It isd SUPPOSED to show Rage/Akira feeling for the other... And uh, every porno I have seen hasn't showed people having real emotions o.o;;;

Akira is my fav. from the DDR scene but.....I cant imagine him in shounen-ai(man-man relationship but not so pornish idea) I dunno....it just catches me off guard. And instead of the whole sex scene maybe you should skip that part and just show the cuddling and ye olde starring into each others eyes; to avoid the porn look.

Why exactly do the DDR characters need to be sexualized at all? I wouldn't be disappointed at all if they never functioned as anything more than background decoration.

Like, I siad, it just sounded like you were emphasizing the sex instead of the art. Sexuality doesn't really need to come into ddr. It is an a-sexual sport. It doesn't matter if you're gay or straight, either way you're playing.

That sounds like a good idea...I still dunno the final things I am gonna do because I am having to hold it back. So yeah.

Go for something better, and if possible, throw DDR in! Yeah, have them freestyle and laugh and sing and hug and etc...

Dude. What the hell is wrong with you? I'm not flaming or anything. But, those are the 2 charachters, that I imagined were masculine and straight. Not gay. come on. what is your motivation on making this video?
For someone who sounds bored, it kinda sounds like that you're gay. And this most definately doesn't sound like comedy. It sounds pretty damn serious and gross. May i recommend that you use other characters? like on 5th mix. use Naoki and NMR.(yes i'm aware of the fact that they are the same person.) or those robots.
Don't use the Akira and Rage. And Burning the Floor? how does this make sense? and aren't flash videos supposed to be funny or a parody to something?
As far as I'm concerned flash videos are supposed to be funny not serious. But hey do whatever you want. If you really are gay I'm not offending you, but if you're not sorry i made that comment. but I'm not flaming you.
I would just like to be informed on the purpose of this? and why Burning the Floor? and why not It's raining men or something of that sort. and why would you use masculine characters?

I think if you focus on the idea of love and not just sex, it's all cool.
Everyone has their own perspective of the characters and how they view them. I'd say this is an expression of what you see these two characters being like.
Personally I'm not all into a lot of shounenai, but as long as it's tasteful then more power to you for doing it.
