Hey,
Well a friend of mine and myself recently completely our first homemade pad to excellent results and we've decided on our next project. We are going to build an arcade cabinet to play Stepmania in. I was wondering if anyone knew where we could get instructions to build just a cabinet for our application. If not I think I will just base it on the Killer Instinct 2 cabinet my friend's dad has. Also any tips? I just plan to hook up a computer and monitor inside the cabinet.....then add 2 computer speakers and a subwoofer....two homemade pads....and a couple PS-USB adaptors. Thanks for any comments.

My friends and I are working on something similar for our DDR club at UMBC. They managed to reprogram Linux and Stepmania so that the computer running the program boots Linux, then straight into Stepmania, and doesn't offer a menu screen unless scroll lock is pressed on a keyboard. Instead it works just like an arcade.

I don't know about any cabinent specs, but if you'd like I can make my friend post here what he did, exactly. E1.gif
