Well, good for him. But this is seeing or hearing about DDR outside of home/arcade.

I saw it on the show Kim Possible and Lizzy Miguire. I herd Tess's Stay and Justify My Love, and silent hill (3rd Christmas Mix) on Disney station. And.....Oh, on the Japanease channel. These people where in search for these only triditions of Japan. Anyway, there was a Bubble Tea house and they played Sukura and Candy<3 in the background. It was funny to becouse it gave a rating of the places they viseted in the pentagram like in DDR. Mmmmm.....If only I can find a Tea house with bubble tea that has a ddr machine.....That'll be the day........ E13.gif

V is a classical song. I forgot the real name..

Ordinary world is by Durran Durran. The aurora remix was done in 93.

MegaTokyo is one of the web's best webcomics. You should take some time to read through the years of it. It's very well drawn and exhibits very cool aspects of Japanese culture as shown here. So cool. This comic shows a DDR substitute called Mosh Mosh Revolution where you recreate the moshpit feeling with punk music.

That would be Vivaldi's "Winter".

Not sure if this is old or not, but my sister was watching The Parent Trap on TV about a half an hour ago and they showed a clip of the main character (Lindsey Lohan) in her next movie, Confession of a Teenage Drama Queen and there was a clip of her and another girl playing DDR at an arcade.

I was at a Snowball dance tonight, and my boyfriend and friends and I were jammin, when suddenly John and I heard a song we recognized... it was Sandstorm! We were so excited and tempted to "dance" to it's steps, but we knew better happy.gif

On G4TV they just had an episode of one of their programs (dont know which one) but they had the "top 10 greatest music games of all times" of course i was worried because I didn't see DDR there until #1. But I can't believe they compared DDR to parapa rapa!!! I mean come on! DDR = Exercise. Praprepapsp rppa = weirdness and no exercise.

Anyways, yea they showed some people playing, looked like they were just jumping around and not really hitting anything.

Oh but the commercial for DDR on G4 they show, wow that's pretty cool. I don't know about the style of the people playing it (they make them look like geeks).
