WAAAAY too many of these apply to me. But anyway,
You know you're a DDR freak when...
You draw comics of people playing DDR all over your homework (guilty )
You only listen to music that's in DDR
Your old friends stopped hanging out with you because of your obsession with "that weird arrow game"
You see arrows everytime you close your eyes
You have a crush on one of the characters *coughAKIRAcough*
You have cosplayed as one of the characters
You actually find some educational value in DDR and convince your teacher to let you bring it to school and play it in class (we finally did it!)
That's all I can think of _________________

Oh, wow. All of the following apply to me:
*If you think about DDR more than 10 times a day
*If you continue to play even if you are extremely exhausted from an Oni.
*You might be a DDR Freak if when you hear a DDR song, you immediately get up and start stepping as if you were on the pad!
*When you get offended if anyone calls it the "gay dancing game
*You might be a ddrfreak if you try and think of dance steps (arrows) for every song you hear
*You might be a ddrfreak when you showoff constantly at the local arcade
*You bring a sweat rag with you to the arcade.

I had part of one Sociology test last semester that actually was the 1st 8th note run of Max 300! (left would be A, up would be B, down would be C, and right would be D) The answers actually ran B, A, C, B, D, C, B, A, B, and then they went off into something else.

What about if I actually noticed the spelling error in the second writing of the word "Phrekwenci"?
And here are some more:
*You see a tiled floor and your first instinct is to start busting the moves to your favorite DDR song
You take a road trip to go play DDR, then come back to your local DDR machine afterwards for more DDR.
* You've ever used DDR moves on a crowded dance floor
*You can't go out of the house without someone reconizing you as "That person who plays that one dance game" |

UME-Type2 ~mr.KATASTROFY~: I think you pronounce it like the word "Frequency".
You might be a ddrfreak if you go to a club and find yourself involuntarily dancing in a square.
You might be a ddrfreak if you philosophically ponder the lyrics of various ddr songs.
You just might be a ddrfreak if your vision of hell is to be stuck playing the home version of DDRUSA for all freakin' eternity. |

Oh, OK. Makes sense now.
You know you're a DDR freak when you shut off the announcer so you can say the lines. (i.e. you're doing good and you say "I'm getting excited!" you do bad and you say "Oh my GAWD!!!") |

lol That one made me laugh... Most of the others are true for me....I think I need to start bringing a bigger sweat rag - at the moment I use a flannel/facewasher, and it doesn't last too long.
These ones are true for me:
You know you're a DDR freak when...
- a lady in the crowd asks if you do tap dancing, and if not, you should start
- you turn around after a song and find half of the national rugby team for your country has been watching you
- you don't mind paying a bit extra for a game sometimes, if it means a better location with a bigger crowd
- you fork out $195 US to have two hard-foam dance mats shipped over to Australia since you can't get them here.
- you play 9-footers barefoot on your mats, and your feet catch fire (ok, well almost )
- you get the arcade guy to turn up the volume on the machine, since you can barely hear it (I thought they'd have to turn off the machine, but it's just a volume knob - so don't hesitate to ask, if your machine has low volume!)
- the only program icon on your desktop is StepMania |

You might be a DDR Freak if:
... you've played barefoot at the arcade and proudly state it as a trademark "I passed a cata in the arcade today! BAREFOOT!!!".

... you've had more than two other people in your car tapping to the heavy steps of a song either with their feet or their hands on the dashboard or lap.
... all your current friends play.
... you've met all your current friends playing.
... you stay out until 4 am playing with friends and leave wanting to play more.
... explain other Bemani games as the "ones like DDR only..."
... you've explained the concept to more than 10 people who end are watching you at the end of the round/song.
... you've explained the concept while playing the game to a spectator that's standing behind/to the side of you asking questions.... and passed the song with an A or higher.
... you've recieved tokens from someone watching in order for you to keep playing.
... were leaving on a vacation somewhere out of state and came to this site to print out the machine locations for that state so you would know where you needed to stop.
... you've been interviewed by someone from the news/ newspaper about the game.... taped yourself on the news demonstrating the game.
... you have a tape completely dedicated to recording yourself playing at the arcade. _________________
