Dunno if something like this was already posted, or I put this in the wrong place or what. If so, may it be locked with extreme prejudice.
Just wanted to see what people came up with. For example..
You might be a ddfreak if you list all of you Heavy AAs/AAAs on your resume.
-or-
You might be a ddrfreak if you have a recurring nightmare about Black Flagging PSMO over and over again. |

I do that every freakin moment
You might be a ddrfreak when you showoff constantly at the local arcade
You might be a ddrfreak when you always call the place you go to and ask if they have a DDR machine
You might be a ddrfreak when you still are playing DDR right now
You might be a ddrfreak when you actually post on DDRFreak's Message Board |
dang, I don't count.
by the way, I have another
You know your a ddr freak when you are amused when someone asks if there is a ddr song with lyrics thats not about sex (anyone remember that old topic?) _________________

Here are some, all of which have happened to me:
1. Bubble-in test scores look like DDR arrows (a=< b=^ etc.) (This happened to me; looked like good steps to Paranoia)
2. Teacher waves hand in front of you and comments on your "glazed eyes" while you think of DDR
3. Upon hearing the word "Revolution" you automatically think "DDR? WHERE???"
4. Parts of song titles like "Rave" trigger as that song ("There was a rave last night..." ="Dynamite Rave")
5. Song titles have come up in school work (End of the Century for me in a thing on Shakespeare...)
See how many have happened to you _________________

One that happens to me personally on a regular basis..
You might be a ddrfreak if someone asks how much money a week you spend at the arcade and when you tell them they stare at you, dumbfounded. |

You have a recurring dream every night where you visit the biggest arcade you ever saw and can't find the DDR machine anywhere.
You start calling people "n00bz" in your head.
You bring a sweat rag with you to the arcade.
You buy shoes based entirely on the quality of the sole and not at all on how they look.
You pay to play the same game you own 3 versions of at home.
You actually think you can attract girls by doing something that takes a lot of talent and hard work. _________________

That actually happens in almost all popular games (Counter-Strike, Gunbound, etc).
To answer the very first question, yes this has been posted COUNTLESS TIMES ever since I've been a DDR Freak.
Anyways, here's mine:
Just like pot-heads, you use rent/food money for DDR
Regular songs out there sound like they're too long to listen too
You scream and holler like crazy when you hear on the next DDR mix that a popular song will be used in DDR (e.g. Sandstorm, Heaven, etc) _________________

I must be a DDR Freak because almost all of those things apply to me.........
Um...........
You might be a DDR Freak if you download MIDI's of your favorite DDR songs to practice your steps on?
You might be a DDR Freak if DDR is directly responsible for the only serious injuries you've suffered?
These apply to me, too. _________________

You might be a DDR Freak if:
... you buy a phone that has midi capabilities for ringtones and you find a page of all DDR Ringtones and start planning which you're going to put on.
... the wallpaper on your phone is the DDR logo.
... you've met a significant other while playing DDR.
... you've met a significant other through the DDR Freak boards.
... have a certain order in which you surf the boards.
... have talked to more than 3 people from DDR Freak on the phone.
... you friend every other member that you can find that has a Live Journal.

I swear to god, that's happened to me. I downloaded some full version songs I like, and I get bored listening to them. Of course, most of them are repetetive (Ready Steady Go, The Whistle Song, etc.)
You might be a DDR freak if you don't believe in official simfiles because they harm Konami when you don't buy official DDR games. |
