yea, its like, 39 dollers cheaper, cause its 99 plus 39 shipping, whereas the BNS costs 139 and has 39 shipping. im just wondering if anyone who got those pads on ebay know if they are the same ones as the BNS ones. |

Keep in mind that you'll have to mod those metal pads when you get them... |

i got a quick question, i bought a CF but i have a problem with it...i like to play with light weight running shoes..but the problem is that they seem to stick to the surface of the pad, so every time i play it feels like my shoes are sticking to the surface...
so im wondering if there is some sort of cleaner or something that'll make the surface of my cf either less sticky, or slippery...thanks. |

When you slide your hand on top off the lexan, does it feel sticky? |

Is this pad any good? Like does it come Dead on Arrival or anything, I know you probably need to mod it but can someone give me links? Thanx in advance. |
Seems ok, just buy some polycarbonated plastic and some sheet metal and it should be an okay pad. |

Cristian989 you either need to look for some new shoes like k-swiss or sambas or something...or put a thin layer of flour or dust on the bottom of your shoes. I know it seems like it will mess your pad up but it really doesn't. Also, make sure your shoes don't get wet becuase then they are hella sticky. _________________

Argh! They suck! The rail easily snaps off, there isn't an appropriate counter-weight, the arrow panels are made from acrylic, so they will crack, and it has cheap responsiveness because it uses aluminom foil and a copper contact. This has been asked sooo many times. Why didn't you read the first few and last few pages of this thread? Nobody does... |

That is the BNS clone we were just talking about. You WILL have to mod it for reliable (in the long run) play. _________________

Okay - I think it's been said that the pads these guys sell are RO knockoffs, right?
So, they already have control boxes out for their metal pads which appear to have an identical (DB-15) interface to the RO pads. PLUS...they have an Xbox MC slot in them, which, AFAIK, the RO control box won't have.
So, anyone have one of these yet that can give me more information? _________________

I'm just curious, compared to soft pads like the Ignition 2.0, how good are metal pads on the feet (assuming you just play with socks )? _________________

Hmm...That looks EXACTLY like the one I ordered. I ordered the 8 arrow version. The control box looks exactly the same. I have played on these pads, and after a few weeks of HEAVY use, you will have to mod them. The arrows look to be lexan, as the show no signs of cracking at all. I weigh over 200 lbs, and have pounded the hell out of it. No cracks. _________________

I should've been clearer, though - I was more inquiring about the control box than the pad (I have two RO's myself). I'm wondering if it works with the RO.
I've since ordered one (the control box), so I guess we'll find out. I also ordered a RO control box. _________________

Question:
(couple of them, I hope someone can help me out...)
1.) Are the BNS metal pads any good? (the ones for $149)
2.) Are there any control boxes for BNS pads that work with the Xbox?
3.) Re: above...will Red Octane control boxes work with BNS pads?
Thanks in advance. _________________
