A lot of people say big feet make you bad at playing DDR, but I wear a size 14 and I can pass most catas (single or double) with ease. Who's got me beat? _________________

size 16 or 17, depending on which shoes. but it doesn't really matter until you get tired, then you will drag your feet, and trip. But then again, I will sometimes kick the bar (think that happens for another reason), or when i attempt to play double, i will trip it. |

I really dont think that your shoe size makes a diffrence
in how play ddr. but some people say having big feet is
bad. |

Reflexx has pretty big feet, but he seems to be an extremely adept player. It doesn't seem to hinder a lot of the bigger people I've talked to who play.

Flex only has a 12 or a 13 (unless he grew again), but he is a VERY adept player.
The biggest I've seen is a 15, but he can do some 9s, so that's not too bad. |

I'm starting to think you may be able to cover more ground with big feet.
Although, I do admit I trip over my feet occasionally when I play doubles. _________________

no, from what i observed big feet throw most people off. they miss the steps because of the placement of the feet _________________

Yeah it does, and mainly during doubles. I keep thinking I'm fall off, and since I have only tried it 3 or 4 times, I'm not familiar with everything so I'll trip up. |

Size 15 here: I've actually found that if you practice twitching your feet forward and backward, you can do 8th note runs MUCH easier b/c you don't have to move as much. At least at home that is (I have the RedOctane pads with those big thick foam inserts inside the zipper), but on the machine it's a bit diff. I recommend wearing VERY well worn sneakers (my high top Chucks actually do quite nicely) and practicing it on some easy song. What I mean, if you are confused, by the way, is stand sorta diagonally (feet apart pointing forward, you're looking to the front right or left of the pad.) You can use your toes for one step and your heel for the other with each foot. It makes these fast runs a lot easier. _________________

My friend wears a size 10 (8 or 9 in guys?) and she plays really well. I also have guys friends with huge feet (their freaking tall too) and they can whoop butt on ddr. _________________

My friend is 6'4 and size 14 UK size, which are bigger than US sizes, and sometimes the weight of his feet when on faster songs throws him off balance, but I think that's because he copies my play-style, I'm 5'3 and size 8 _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

size 17 over here, can pass everything but maybe psm oni...thats just because i suck ....I freestyle too, and they havent been much in my way at all.
the feet were a giant hindrance when i was playing at home....touching the down button when i was in the middle (and the up button)....
on a side note, Team Bigfoot of Northern Florida got 2nd at T3 in Jacksonville, FL around september of last year, so we bigfooted people dont seem to have much trouble.
