I just got my cobalt flux today and I would still be playing now except my back is hurting frown.gif. Well, I have a few words to say about this pad. OH MY frick GOD COBALT FLUX IS THE BEST PAD IN THE UNIVERSE drool.gif . Seriously if you have the cash, buy one now, it is such a beautifully and wondefully crafted piece of ddr merchandise, you will never regret the purchase. I immediately started noticing my scores go up, AA's instead of A's on many songs like CSFILSM, A`, and others. My only gripe is that it will take a bit of getting used to. I play in socks so the screws sometimes get in my way, but then again I have small feet and that wouldn't effect somebody larger than I am.

Verdict: Go buy one now.

I'll answer questions, if any of you have some :O

or you could always build one much better... E1.gif

My friend has two of them, and I am not a big fan of them... I admit they are nice, but I designed/built my own that work MUCH better and are much more durable, so I am kinda partial to them E1.gif

I admit though, they great pads (prolly the best store bought ones out there), if you dont feel like building your own, and have gobs of money to spend E1.gif

They work much better and are more durable? WTF? How much more durable can you get than the CF? And, what do you mean by "work MUCH better"? The CF works perfectly, how can you work MUCH better than that?

Shouldn't Metal Pad Review = Metal Pad Thread?

I remember a lot of "Reviews" were locked (and weren't all that great)

I'll agree the Cobalt Flux pads are nice, but it takes a while to get used to the fact that it's completely flat. It took me around a month to get used to, and now it works great biggrin.gif
