XBOX--> Cobalt Flux Adapt?

HELP ME!!!

Essentially, I have a problem, and hopefully this shouldn't be too much trouble.

OK---- I recently bought a CF Pad (2.0), and I have been using it through a Gemeni adaptor to play Ultramix. Needless to say, this adds on unacceptable lag time on an already picky game (plus I think I have one of the screwed up control boxes ) . So I checked out this Beavstir3 (www.beaverbytes.com?) guide on how to mod your own CBOX by chopping up the soft pad. That's fine, but the guide only covers how to do it on a CF 1.0. . The difference is the prong output from the CF. I think in 1.0 it's 9, but on 2.0 it's more.
So here is my question: Do I...
A: Cut the wire that leads into the CBOX just before it gets there, and wire it from there...
B: Get a new wire (the D-Shell cable I got is a 9-prong ala the guide. I think 2.0 uses 12?).

Also, does anyone have a wiring chart for me to use?

You'll want to get a 15 wire monitor cable and wire it up to the soft pad circuit board. ichiro has the CF 2.0 pin-outs listed here (look under New Pad).

If you're using a Konami pad as your circuit board, follow beavstir's instructions for wiring, but feel free to wire up the X and Y buttons that he skips in his tutorial (just map them to pins 9 and 8, respectively).

Sounds easy enough----
But is there any specific VGA cable I should be getting (and is there a Radio Shack call number anyone knows? )
