Well i have a cobalt ( yay me) and my apartments have a retarded management who placed sand when it snowed. That sand has been everywhere and in my shoes. I washed the bottoms of my shoes so that no sand would get in my pad. Lucky me, it still got inside it and now when i step on it i hear the sand cracking.. ok so my question is shuld i leave the sand in it and play till it is crushed to dust or shuld i remove because it may cause some problems. BTW wut do u ppl do when u were just outside and want to play on a metal pad weearing shoes

(wasnt sure if it belonged in discussion lock if need be)

Remove it. Don't worry about the pad breaking if you do. It won't. The sand will restrict the distance at which the arrow depresses and the CF won't be as responsive. This happened to me and the down arrow didn't work for half of Paranoia KCET.

Take off the lexan (the "glass" square), you'll then see the sheet metal, slid your fingers underneath the sheet metal a little on the side opposite the side that points to the middle (the side that is on the outside of the pad) and slowly lift up, you will hear the velcro uncling, slowly keep doing this and move your fingers closer to the center of the pad until the sheet metal has came off. Then just use a cloth or compressed air or something to clean out the pad and then put the sheet metal back on.

What we've always done with dirt on our shoes is bang them together outside so that all the sand gets off the bottom. Slam them together sole to sole. *shrug* my $0.02.

Well you can just stand the pad up and try and shake the stuff out E10.gif

You can unscrew the panels, take a cloth to it and clean it up too.

Its not much of a big deal to me though, I wear socks with my CF.
