The videos are very good quality recordings of people playing many of the diffrent songs at the test location. |

Meh. Most of these songs neither sound good nor look fun. Especially the REALLY hard ones, like Disconnected.
Mines are a neat idea though. Especially doing a freeze/stop right before a mine. Tricky!

| they have 4 skill levels for the songs, most songs on expert are really hard, personaly I don't find really hard songs as being fun, but there are people who really enjoy that stuff, so I understand why the made the expert skill level. ITG has Medium and Hard skill levels which are actualy really good. I don't know why they are only showing videos of the really hard stuff. They should post more videos of medium and hard skill levels. Plus they are only showing like 16 of the over 50 some songs currently in the test version, so ya they should post more. :D POST MORE PLEASE! |

Somehow I knew someone would post this, so I'll explain it so you can understand.
Ok? you know Stepmania? Well, guess who made and co-created this game? The guy who made Stepmania (Chris Danford) Yes, that's right, the little game on your computer where you use your fingers to play DDR.
The whole Idea of ITG is to EXTEND the idea of DDR throughout years to come, you know why? Becuase Chris will be taking ideas to make this better, and there will be updraged that will be sooo much cheaper then the ones for DDR, eventually, it will have as many songs as DDR, AND IT'LL HAVE ALL THE KICK ASS MODS. 
IT IS NOT A RIPOFF OF DDR. It was made because DDR is DEAD.

Well I've looked at most posts about this game before I finally made this judgement.
I know this game is in part made by the creators of Stepmania... Stepmania is good. Why? Because it's free. I wouldn't pay money for that poopy.
God damn, every time I post something negative about something everyone tries to start a flame war. This is my opinion about the game after learning as much as I can about it.
Have fun playing your hacked DDR. The end.

from the videos i saw, the expert level songs don't seem to be fun at all. the mines would get annoying as fuck very quickly for me. the mods don't really add anything, either. it's still just stepping on arrows to music, and to me, that game is dead. perhaps since i've been playing for so long i have no interest in prolonging the series...but seriously. it's dead ;p

Well, if you post things like: "OMG" and "Gay" in the same sentence and leave that as your entire posted opinion, what do you think people are going to take it as?
I've played it-its fun. I don't play it with all the crazy mods and difficult stuff, but I have considered using those options. The game is fun, nonetheless. The videos might want to show a player scrolling through the entire song list, so people might get a sense of some of the awesome songs the machine has-just a suggestion.
I still support this endeavor; its just difficult for me to get to Illusionz as of late to put my money where my mouth is, so to speak.^_^;;;

WOW you guys made a lot of progress..
considering these I guess are just linux "boxes" and a particular arcade around here has 2 cabinets, 1 of which makes almost nothing, this could for hella cheap increase drastically the revenue of the dead ddr machine... this might just lose me that 60 pounds I've gained since I stopped playing DDR (although I lost 60 when I started so I guess I'm back to normal  )
