hi all, im new to this board but im not too n00b =/
i was wondering if someone would give me some advice ona metal pad, ive read the boards and want a strait outanswer FOR ME!
im not a competitive player, but i play a lot jsut for enjoyment (max 300, A, V, ***BAG***(yes ive mastered it).
i just want a nice metal pad that will last and has decent good response. I am willing to pay forthe cobolt flux if its REALLY that much better than any other metal pad. but if theres a metal pad that has good responsiveness and good durability please tell me.
I was also thinking of building my pad off ddrhome's instructions, anyone try it and hows the durability and responsiveness?
thanks all

The CF is in fact, the best metal pad out there, unless you can build your own metal pad. If you think you can build your own pad, I recommend doing it, otherwise, stick with the CF. CF is the best pad, followed by the RO, but don't buy the RO, as the lights will break and stop working fast and the contact system just plain sucks.

Hey Liuser22, i actually have that BNS pad you listed above, i've been using it for about the past 3 weeks. Playing Constant Heavy 8, 9 and 10's and honestly For the money I can't complain at all. The only thing that is kinda crappy about it is that the contact area is limited to the middle of Each Arrow. But its not that much that it makes a huge difference, and if you wanted to, i heard its quite easy to mod it, ill prolly end up doing this once i feel like becoming unlazy. And who can resist the cheesy x-mas lights? =) Otherwise this is a pretty good pad and dont have much to complain about it yet... _________________
