Well, I have never heard of thoes about the people appearing and then disappering, thats really weird...creppy...I'm sure I've seen that guy...

But anyways, this is an old post that had a bunch of lyric misconseptions on it. I don't think you could consider these to be "Urban legends" but I do know that a lot of what people have said in here is in this old thread... if nothing else, its a real good read, very funny biggrin.gif ENJOY!

i ehard that terrorists are secretly replacing the sensors on the arcade pads with mines so that when you dance you blow up!!! erm.gif or not, but yeah these urban legends get a little out of hand. It's DDR, there's nothing you can really make a legend out of? ....except that little Korean girl that AAA's songs, if taht was real I would be so happy E2.gif

Hasn't anyone mentioned the "phantom DDR fan?" Its supposedly some weird Asian guy who shows up and watches people play, then disappears. And if you try to photograph him, the photo will blur.

Holy crap, it all makes sense. Remember The Ring? How the people blurred in the photos? OK, just listen. DDR has a song called Butterfly. There is a game called Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly. That game is about a mystical camera that captures souls. The Ring is about a little girl named Samara who came out of TV screens from a videotape, which is essentially a string of photos strung together. The Ring was originally made in Japan, a part of Asia, under the title Ringu. IT ALL FITS TOGETHER! THE GUY WILL CRAWL OUT OF THE SCREEN WHEN YOU PLAY BUTTERFLY AND PWN YOU SO BADLY YOU WILL KILL YOURSELF! RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just kidding. If any of this made sense, you have too much time on your hands. E10.gif

A long while ago, somebody claimed that their was a subliminal message in the song "Afronova Primeval." The message was like "Play bemani play bemani!" Next time you listen to it, listen closely at the beginning of the song and wait for those elephants to do the sounds that they make (don't know the word for it). The sound that the elephants make will sound A LOT like "Play Bemani! Play Bemani!" To me more specific, it's about three seconds into the song.

If it actually is that, do the subliminal messages really work?

After listening to this song I am convinced the elephant type sounds at the beginning really are saying 'Play Bemani! Play Bemani!' Its a little scary...

Oh, it was nothing. I'm just a conspiracy theorist, like Dale Gribble (aka Rusty Shackleford). My best case is probably on the government using bumble bees as cameras to spy on human's bathroom habits, and then stategically clog up all the world's sewers at once to drown their enemies. Wait a second... Bumble bees... Bumblebee is a DDR song... Another type of bug, like butterflies... the artist behind Bumblebee also wrote Cowgirl... George W. Bush is from Texas, where there would be a lot of Cowboys/girls... He's the leader of the government... HOLY CRAP! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! GEORGE W. BUSH WILL CRAWL OUT OF A TOILET AND STOMP YOU WITH HIS L33T SK1LL5 IF YOU SEE A COWGIRL WHILE PLAYING BUMBLEBEE!!! RUN!!!!!!!!!!

8-year old girl who AAAs? If it's the same girl I used to see, then, I swear, she used to go to my Arcade.

I dunno if she was actually 8 years old, but she looked like she could pass as one. Plus, she has the skills to back it up.

I'm probably wrong though, as I wouldn't believe that Legend if I didn't know about that girl (if she's the same one).

The thought of a little asian girl who has god-like DDR powers scares me. She's probably just a robot if she's actually real.

one last note :Lunartick2007, as odd as it may sound; everything you've suggested so far can oddly make some sorta of sense.

Remember what I said about Drop Out being based from a Liza Minelli song?

What I actually meant was that Drop Out was based from a Milli Vanilli song.

riiight.gif Sorry.
