My mom got me to see DDR on TV, "I'm with her" show and she said it was playing "Everybody dance now" by C+C music factory. I told her it was a Pump it Up machine the arrows were on the corners and not on the sides.
Guess it was just a false alarm and I finaly saw the Everybody loves Remond one with the soft pads.

I saw DDR on X-play yesterday for DDRMAX2. How come every time I see someone talking about DDR on TV they don't know how to play or they do know how to play and it comes off as this miracle game that makes you lose weight? =P

Syxx, it was morgan who did the review, and she hasnt played DDR before. Back in the ye old time when X-Play was gamespot tv, kate botello (who i met at gen con drool.gif ) played and tought adam. If adam did the review, i would think it may be a little bit better (but laitly he has been sarcastic). I remember when kate did a review of para para paradice!

I just saw a commercial on BET for a show similar to Real World called College Hill. One of the roommates claims he's "different" and when he says that they show him playing DDR and then Bowling. Anyway I don't think the show is coming out until next week. So I don't know if they'll put any footage in the show with him playing.

They had PIU on Price is Right awhile ago, but I don't know if they had DDR.

i just saw DDR on MTV's Fake ID Club. Some 15yo celebrity guy was playing it, some white dude.

Unfortunately, it was only for a few seconds.

I was kicking around CNN.com at work and ran across this:

http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/fun.games/01/23/dance.game.ap/index.html

Funny how they show Karaoke Revolution in the pic, then caption it with DDR stuff. At least they talk about KR later in the article.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but one of my friends has a "Best of Domo-Kun" video, and during one of the segments they played Xanadu while Domo-Kun and some cheerleaders danced.

they are so clueless when they write this article.... "blah blah blah it's almost spiritual!" haha yeah, maybe if you're doing afronova... they made it seem like people who can play on heavy were gods. plus they said there are 5 whole versions of ddr!

there are. Dance dance revolution and Konamix on PS1. On PS2 there are MAX 1 and 2. And finally Ultramix on Xbox. To the American audience 1st-8th don't technically exist here.
