|
|
You guys seem to know a lot about how to get IIDX. I have a few questions.
1) I have seen that the prices are very reasonable on www.gamechoice.com.hk . Is this a reliable site? Has anyone else ordered from there? Please comment.
2) How much is shipping (in general)? I know you guys may have ordered from different sites, but I want to know a general price range. If this helps, the controller weighs 2.6 kg and the game is very light (like .016 kg).
3) How do you choose what service you want to ship by? (I've never ordered online, period.) Some people say UPS is the best. Is there a way to choose? Is this just something you choose when you order online?
I'd appreciate some feedback on these questions. Thank you. _________________

The main problem with sites such as those are legitimacy and shipping problems. Not all of those stores are reliable, and anything shipped out of that area is gonna cost a ton (see Lik-Sang; they're on the cheaper end of shipping) Now, I'm not saying you *can't* trust them at all, I just want to give you a bit of paranoia
I'd recommend you try to e-mail them first to ensure that the items you want are indeed in stock.
Oh, and wire transfers are bad, mmmkay?
EDIT: I normally use faster UPS options when getting things shipped from overseas. Never had much problem with that.

Places I've ordered from:
www.ncsx.com
www.japanvideogames.com
www.toysnjoys.com
As for shipping, it depends on what delivery rate you get and where you are relative to the store. But just so you get an idea, UPS 2nd day-air from NY to CA was $15 and UPS ground was $5...I think. I don't remember the exact numbers, but those should be pretty close. |

Yea.. I can vouch for www.japanvideogames.com as well. I orderd my controller on a wednesday morning, and got it that friday. I even got the worst shipping which was 13$. I live in Miami, FL if it matters.. and they're all the way in California I think.. |
