I have ddr max2 and a cheapo pad... (buying materials for metal pad next paycheck) But for now here's the problem if I am on an arrow already (up, left, or right) it doesn't let me hit the back arrow... But still lets me hit up and down arrows when they are at the same time (not always). So is this a fixable problem or do I just have to deal with it? I know qaulity with cheapo pads are low (hence the name E13.gif )

And just btw I don't play with sneakers..

So if you can help respond or even if this has happend to you too.. blink.gif [/quote]

I feel your pain, I have had cheapo mat pads. I think I went through 3 pairs of them. Basically, there is a tear under the pad in your down arrow sensor, I don't think there is much you can do for THOSE types of pads. I got fed up with that kind of stuff, I even ordered the soft DELUXE FOAM INSERT OMG pads and those are sticking and bending and just not working, 9-10 footers destroy these pads, if you aren't there yet, go with em, they're pretty good otherwise. Tired of my pads breaking, ordered my Cobalt FLux last week, I wasn't ambitious enough to build my own riiight.gif .

no man...I feel your pain. I'm going through my 7th and 8th soft pad right now. I know I know, get a hard pad. I wish I can afford it. I know exactly what you guys are going through. The arrow constantly goes up forever, or right forever, etc. Whatever it is, it's actually funny....BUT ANNOYING as hell. "Dunt Dunt Dunt Dunt Dunt Dunt Dunt Dunt Dunt " laugh.gif

I can picture (those of you who have the same problem) you guys yelling at the pads or the game cause you can't solve this problem. Haha, the trick is, Just slide your foot accross the section that is stuck (I think you guys should know this already) and if it works, appriciate your pad. Otherwise, throw that crap out and buy another or like stalker-, buy a Cobalt Flux

If anyone knows how to fix this please tell us! we are suffering!
Well...i guess if all else fails I could just buy a new pad.. disgust.gif

It's bad when the arrow fails to respond during the song but works in everything else like the mode and song selection. I remember seeing someone lose in a tournament because he decided to use his own pad, and the down arrow began to fail on him. Actually, my problem is with the left arrow on the official American Konami Dance controller. I had it for almost three years, and only now am I starting to have trouble with it.

If its the up or right button make sure your foot is NOT on teh X button on the top right, other wise the down arrow wont work. Happens to me all the time lol
