Hey there, I'm pretty new to DDR but am interested in getting a pad for the ps2. I'm pretty sure on going with a redoctane version 2 (that's pretty much in my cost) but might spring for the metal one.

So here's my question: Which brand/model of pad are the most realistic in terms of arcade gameplay? Also, I want to hook it up to the pc. What is a really good adapter?

Thank you for all of your help.

Try the BNS pads, they can work along with your costs too, and seeing how theyre just as good as Redoctagone, but they have many features with them. Heres a link http://www.buynshop.com/newindex.php?parentid=41

If you think youre gonna be into DDR for awhile, get a metal pad. Youre just gonna end up getting one eventually anyway.

i got a metal pad and it works great... even though it was slightly defective on arrival (i had to open it and move some exposed wires that were causing the button to stay down)

Okay, I now know that metal pads are *definitely* the best, but what brands do the pros here use?
