yeah, i recently got the red octane dual usb adapter so i can play stepmania. I've done the start select up thing numerous times, mapped the arrows as buttons, re-installed the adapter itself along with the drivers, but after a few songs of playing normally, the adapter resets itself and maps the arrows as axis. I don't really understand why, after i fail in the middle of the song because nothing works correctly, I do the start select up hold again and it works for about another 5 minutes and resets itself again. Anybody else ever have this problem or does anybody know how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

you did everything you're supposed to, but it sounds like it might be occasionally seperating from the USB port and resetting itself.
make sure your USB port is well secured, and try it on a different computer. If it still has problems contact Redoctane tech support / customer service and see if you can get another one. |
