Well, I've become much more outgoing since starting DDR, and my taste in music has broadened quite a bit. Plus, it gives me a reason to get out my damned room for a change. E9.gif

Hmm... changed things a little. I haven't lost any weight playing it but that's prolly because I'm a bit underweight to begin with. Still it's let me eat all sorts of crud with a clearish conscience

The social aspects of DDR are prolly what do it for me. I met loads of cool and interesting people through the game... all better than me (although funnily enough I think I've surpassed the guy who introduced me to it.. he lives in the US though and I'm not going to get another chance to play againsthim for a while)

Unfortunately there are bugger all serious players in Edinburgh.

Okay, I gained more friends, I started playing when i weighed 320 and now I'm 280, I went from a waist size of 52 to 44 so that is awesome, and I've only been playing for one year. I'm a 1.5x whore but oh well.

DDR helped me get through my break-up last spring, then as chance would have it. I got my then ex into it and eventually we have been dating again since July. Also met some friends... I lost weight, but then gained it back, but I'm assuming its mostly muscle because I went down a size as well. Not to mention how much more energy I have because of it.

I've only been playing since DDRMAX came out in US and I've lost a good amount of weight, made new friends and improved my stamina big time. Now all I need to do is get involved in a nice group to hit the arcades every few weekends with.

DDR's helped me out a lot.

Obviously, I can run faster, withstand more, and whatnot. I haven't lost much weight, surprisingly enough, I've stayed at about 160-180 pounds ever since starting DDR. My weight tends to fluctate at times, but it's never exceeded 186 since. o.O

It's help me to broaden my musical tastes, and taught me tolerance for bagpipe music. riiight.gif I've also picked up the uncanny ability to tap out rhythms for certain songs whenever I hear the music. Or, if I hear any song at all, I'm able to pick up the rhythm. So yeah, DDR addiction's brought me a few good things. I hope to continue with itthroughout the years to come.
