i swear, my highest combo was 10 471 in the Japanese DDR MAX 2, this was on the controller, which is approximately 23 songs worth of full comboing heavy stepped songs, my combo got screwed up at "secret rendevouz", (i now forever hate that song).

On a side note, im pretty sure i started this exact same topic forum ages ago.

On another side note, does any one know why my DDRMAX 2 file got corrupted, its so bad that it wont even let me delete it, the corrupted file. Does anyone have this same problem? If so tell me your story.

Re: Number reset:

It really depends on what number system is used in memory to store the data. It might roll-over at 999,999,999 or whatever the maximum is. If the programmer was really dumb, the counter might do some wierder stuff.

It might also roll-over at some base-2 value assuming that all values are stored in binary. Like 2^X.

On Max2 on endless mode heavy I got a 10000 combo (with the controller, NOT with the pad) and it rolled over to X. So when you go to the high scores for endless mode instead of 10000 it says "X43" b/c my combo was 10043. Hmm. Odd.

I got 385 on a non-stop course that I put together. It's not to impressing, but i'm still proud of it. O well, someday i'll get more. Next time I try. Prolly won't be for a while since i don't concentrate on PA as much anymore?

I think my highest combo was around 600 or 700 on World Tour. I rarely play onis or nonstops, so that's probably the highest it's ever going to get. erm.gif
