I need help...
I've been using a slide card and action replay 2 for all my other games. It's worked on burned ps1 games and burned ps2 games. I bought a copy of 6th style yesterday and it doesn't seem to want to start on my ps2. I've heard conflicting reports on if it's supposed to work or not. What's the real answer? _________________

I have a burned copy with slide card and mines work fine. The real copy works too. I really don't know why it won't work. You should use the magic slide bootdisk it works fine on my PS2. I really don't know anything about using AR. |

Well for whatever reason it doesn't work. I'm getting someone to burn a copy onto a DVD. If that doesn't work then I'll just have to get a different kind of boot disc.
Oh well, thanks. _________________

Okay, this is going to sound immensely n00bish, but how do you get to another mode on 6th style for ps2. I know I can't play it (I can do up to 6* L7 songs) but I don't know how to get it.
Thanks |

If its anything like 5th style you really dont need to know. Just follow whatever patterns it shows you. _________________

it helps in the third set, when you have more specific goals (like getting exactly a 300-some combo on summer vacation)

Yeah, so I just got 6th Style and a Controller the other day. I have to admit that I was initially put off by the difficulty, but that I found begginer mode, I feel better both about myself and the game.
I have a question; how come all of the songs are availible on L7 mode, but not normal 7 mode?
Also, I find the fact that DKW has had such a change of heart about the game. I his original posts he is ranting about how hard the game is, and now he goes on about how it isn't that hard. Heh. _________________

All songs are playable on 7 Key mode. Only on Another (and Beginner in 5th Style) are there songs that aren't playable.
If you're playing in Free Mode, make sure you've played the song in Arcade mode first, or it won't be avaliable in Free. Also, certain songs are only avaliable on certain stages in Arcade Mode. |

I have a question, does anybody have tips for the end of V on L7? I just can't get the quick alternating notes (dum diggy diggy diggy dum dum dum dum) I wanna know if there are any songs that would help "train", in one way or another, for the end. My hand tenses up and can't go fast enough. Also, I play one-handed on the keys and want to keep it that way if I can. |

Just play however you like.
I found that playing 1 handed helped my 2 handed playing improve, because my right hand could pick up some of the notes that my weaker left hand couldn't hit.
Also, it makes scratching and hitting notes at the same time easier if you can play one handed. |

Is there a way to autofail a song in IIDX, or do you just have to wait until the end? (like holding start down in DDR/PnM) I'm playing 6th Style if that helps any... _________________

In Free Mode, you can hold down Start to fail a song. |
