Today I went to a frys for the first time and they had a whole ddr thing setup and I got to play for free. They had a MMB pad and the other one with the bar and they had Max2 (USA) on a plasma screen. Even though I have the game at home I got to test out these pads it was so fun. Has anyone else done this? Oh and I AA'ed so deep and I got extra stage and then I had to leave and the guy failed Maxx Unlimited and I felt bad, whatever though

Haha, sweet huh!? I saw it yesterday, the metal pad set up. They always had it all set up, but finally they got that metal pad up finally. Of course, it cost like 299.99 there and the kids there beat the &#*$ out of it. It's not even a week and it's already beat up. So just go there to play...haha. I usually go there like every other week to check out the sales (yeah, geek off the street) and this week...I was suprised to see it there.

I really wanted to try maxx unlimited on the pad with the bar since I don't have one at home but I had to leave. It's really too bad it takes like 30 minutes to get there from my house, the arcade is so much closer. But the pads they sell are weak, they are really squishy and it felt like there were air pockets in all the arrows, I didn't get to try the 300 dollar one but it looks tight!

They've had it there for like a year now, started with konamix then replaced it with ddrmax. I think I played there once, I just did era on trick when I was with my friend, and had a crowd of like 15 people watching me. I felt awkward and left

I always go to the one in fremont (highway 680 - durham) - and they just put up the metal pad. They always had the squishy pad there since last year though.

Nitro, you should bust out more often. But just before you play, turn up the tv volume loud as you can. laugh.gif

We have a Frys here in Vegas that has a hard pad w/ bar on DDR Max2. I wasn't too fond of the hard pad as I kept slipping trying to do various songs disturb.gif . Evidently I still did better than what most of the people there have ever seen. Go figure.

One of my observations at Frys a few months ago before Max2 came out. A woman and her husband saw DDR and noticed the workout mode option and thought that was pretty cool. However, they couldn't seem to figure out how to get the song to play; she was standing on the arrows making the songs spin all around. Eventually she does get a song to come up on workout mode for the first song: Max 300.

My Fry's has a few arcade cabinates set up with Soul Caliber 2 and MvC 2. They were nice enough to put in X-Arcade sticks in too.

As for DDR, I really don't like soft mats.

Don't go there trying to impress people. Just saying this makes you look bad to the DDR community. You might want to edit those posts before someone else sees them.

Sorry for sounding rude but your just sounding desperate to get attention when you play.
