Heeeey it's Alpha E10.gif (s'me, Catgirl Lover)

I'll vouche for that guide being one of the better guides out there. It's not really arcade-exact, using flat buttons instead of dome buttons, but for a VERY inexpensive way, it's the best you can do happy.gif

If I didn't already have half the dome buttons I need bought from Happcontrols (I'm slowly buying the jumbo dome buttons they have for 25 each), I'd do this method. But, no turning back now E10.gif

According to some people over at the Bemanistyle forums, the spacing between the buttons is 5.5". This is the same horizontally and vertically. I plan on building my controller using the Betson buttons this winter break, meaning I'm starting in a few days. For some reason, they sent me only 5 of the 9 buttons, so I'll have to hold off on wiring all of them, but I can still get it to the point where as soon as the buttons come, I can connect it all. I hope this turns out well, and I'll be sure to let everyone know.

Sorry, this is copied-and-pasted directly from the controller thread. -_-
And sorry if I'm stepping on any toes here.

Dimensions are arcade-exact, cost is currently $250. It's a little pricy but they're extremely and carefully well-made, can take a lot of abuse, and it's still better than $450. ~_^ I have four red ones and two greens in stock right now. They're extremely sturdy - I would eventually like to take a picture of my dad's pickup truck resting on four Ransai controllers, one under each wheel. happy.gif I'm pretty sure they can handle it; they're incredibly well-built.

Colors expanding out to blue and yellow soon. For another $60 or so, I can make yours 2.4 GHz wireless. happy.gif And we're working on making the buttons light up with the help of an AC adapter; we're REALLY close now.

Oh, and I run Ransai along with a friend. ^^ PM me if you're interested.

Buy AirRandom's controllers. They seem really spiffy.

As for me, I finished my box. I still only have 7 of the 9 buttons, but I have a few pictures of the box at www.geocities.com/woottonparkway/popn.html. Feel free to offer suggestions, etc. Thanks.
