|
|
I have a ddr club at my school and we like to play eachother's edit modes...well anyway, no one at my club has played an unlocked machine, so theyve never played Sakura. Im thinking of copying Sakura's steps exactly and putting it on a song from MAX or MAX2. Are there any songs on those two games that are similiar to Sakura's speed patterns, or are at least somewhat similiar, so I can put Sakura's steps on there without it looking ghetto? _________________

Try something with a tempo change like Era or Insertion. |

It would look/feel extremely ghetto As far as I know there are no songs which slow to 24 BPM, so getting it to look right would be a pain.. I suggest showing them the joys of stepmania _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

I dont care about the 24 bpm slow part, as long as I get the jist of it.....it doesnt have to be exactly right _________________

i was going to attempt it on maxx unlimited because thats the closest to it on max2 (imo) even if the multiple temp chagnes dont match and i dont see why you wouldnt care about the tempo changes cause those are (imo) the hardest parts of the song in the beginning and the end _________________

Actually, I do this a lot. I take the steps for one song, and put it on another. I took Max300's steps and put them on sakura...If I remeber correctly, they fit well, so my best bet is to put the steps on max300. _________________

Wouldn't it be easier to show them using a simulator? _________________

I thought you didn't care about the slowdown part.
Anyways, my best bet would be Max300, too. _________________

I will agree with 300, but I wanna see Matsuri JAPAN's steps on Sakura... That would be fun...

There's extremes in my area, but the ones my friends usually go to is the locked one, as in the people that own the machine are pricks and they wont let us punch in the codes _________________

ok....the program wont let me play any of the songs i downloaded
and another thing before i get totally annoyed, what does using a simulator have to do with this topic? It's not like you can play this on a ps2, it's a friggin computer with a keyboard whats the big deal about this thing anyway? _________________
