Playstation pads and controller adapters

Hey, I'm getting DDR Ultramix for XBox and I heard the XBox pads are no good, so I ordered a couple of Playstation pads. I hear you can use them with controller adapters, but I'm not sure which adapter(s) will work , or how much I should expect to pay for two of them - Any help?
