I paid alot of money for my PS2 pads with MAX back in the day, but sold the PS2. FINALLY DDR comes out for my xbox! Has anyone actually found any good convertors for the PS2 to xbox yet? And is Ultramix better than MAX in any way?

It is $20 in EB and such stores, but you might luck out and find one on Ebay. The one in the green box on Ebay is C.R.A.P.(Carelessly Reproduced Annoying Poopy). there is a delay from the time of button press until said button press processes. The one listed above is by Gemini and I use it myself. I am not the DDR god by any stretch, but people better than i use it also and say it is worth the money.

What you can do is if you buy the Ultramix bundle pack that comes with the soft mat you can make a control box that works perfect. The only problem is it doesn't hook up to a PS2 cable. It hooks up to a D-Shell connector like on the front of a Cobalt Flux mat. That will also solve the problem that when you with a mat and it shows a controller. Ultramix is better in some ways. I'm not big on the American releases but the huge advantage of having Ultramix on the XBOX is you can download song packs which will give you new music and the online play. The online play is fun and you meet a lot of cool new and good people which makes it challenging. I don't have buyer's remorse about getting Ultramix. I do have buyer's remorse about buying an adapter then it isn't even fully functional with XBOX Live.

Anyway that is what I recommend and think. Hope it helps.
