Yamaoka, right?

Yup... it's Akira Yamaoka. And the song is of course I feel...
Getting me to post in here, eh? E15.gif

Anyway, Daikenkai reminds me of an arcade I used to go to regularly, since that was my first home arcade that got Extreme and the locals really liked the song at first, since it was so different from any DDR song they've heard before...

Heh, I couldn't think of people...

Every time I listen to stoic, I think back to a friend of mine who made a freestyle where he just sat on the pad and spazzed out (more like the guy in the IIDX video, not Afro in the DDR video).

Every time I hear Gamelan de Couple, a friend of mine named Casey instantly comes to mind. Wanna know why?

Bam.

Gamelan de Couple -- Phil of Team Family Fun (one of the best routines at CBN that didn't make it).

Stomp to My Beat -- KidZero at Rhythm Generation

Healing Vison reminds me of my girlfriend because she always tells me it sucks, but it's one of my favorite songs.

So Deep reminds me of my brother's friend Rusty. I learned DDR off his soft pad and Max US. He was always better than me. Even once we both played heavy, he was always just a little better than me. However, one day we tried So Deep together and both failed. We agreed it was damn hard (tm). Now, 5 months later, I can play So Deep at 1x without the bar at all and get a B on it, while he still can't pass it (I became obsessed, while he stopped playing regularly).

Tsugaru reminds me of my best friend Nate. No real reason, except one day he said he liked the song. Not his favorite song, but I always remember him saying he liked it.

Celebrate also remind me of Nate. I hated that song, but he would always play it.

Stomp to my Beat and We Like to Move It both remind me of my brother's annoying noobie friends. They would just play these songs over and over.

End of the Century reminds me of my cousin and her friends, who would play that over and over on light.

Boys reminds me of my friends Lizz and Emily. One day I started singing along and they looked at me and asked me if I would be their "gay friend." I replied by telling them I couldn't because I ALSO knew all the lyrics to the song "Oh Nick Please Not So Quick."

Humm...Teh Silent hill reminds me of my bf, because as soon as I saw the lyrics to it, I was all, awww....and it fit the current situation.

And Max 300 reminds me of a lot of people with the name Maximillian.

Okay, yes, I don't know anyone named Maximillian. But I wish that were my name. Then I could be, MAXFEMME!

Yeah.

Oh, the time where you posted in the Roulette story thread about playing Kakumei three times? Hilarious.

One time my friend send me a song that he says when he listens to that song, he is reminded of me. So, in return, I picked a song that reminds me of him too...

Just for his blonde hair.

You remember this too, eh? E9.gif

I still think he should've got an outfit like the IIDX guy, not just the sunglasses.

The Legend of Max reminds me of my girlfriend. We were playing around on the pad trying to make up freestyle moves, and we created a freestyle routine to Legend on Standard. It was real fun, but it was hard dragging her away from the pad. E4.gif

Max 300 reminds me of this young man Remy I met at SC at the Boardwalk. He was playing "Trick" Oni Course, and he got to Max 300 at the end. (You know, the one at .25 speed? Yeah.) It was pretty motivating, I'll tell you that. He's REAL good.

That's it for now.

HVAM reminds me of a very good friend of mine in the US.

He's to blame for my DDR crack habit E4.gif I remember when I was just getting into it I watched him pass HVAM for the first time and I was like "holy sh** I WISH I could be that good..."

Of course these days I tend to whore Max300 but, hey, he's moved forward too since then and in the grand scheme of things I'll still suck for a long time to come E13.gif
