I've been working on Silent Hill (both Heavy and Challenge) so that I can show my family on Christmas.
Anybody else planning on doing Silent Hill on/near Christmas, or showing their family DDR for Christmas? _________________

Someone should dress as Santa while playing that song...
I can't stand the song...it's too slow for me and well..I am not into those type of songs. Even if it does match the theme..I won't do so good on it. I never show my family anyway.
I may, I might
play silent hill at night |

If I don't head off to Peru before the 22nd (the day of the Sportsworld tourney in NJ), I might do a FS to it if I decide to go to SW, although I'll need cash to rent the suit and to add more realism, I must fatten myself. If not, I'll do it at a movie theater that has a DDR machine the week before Christmas (can you say Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King). _________________

Honestly, I hate the song, but I think the whole idea of dressing like Santa while playing is great. I can't exactly say I have the figure to try it myself, though. _________________

While I don't really like the original, I actually enjoy the 3rd Christmas Mix. And I love its steps too(Freezes galore, I think even beats out The Shining Polaris's freezes). Sure, I'll play it on Xmas. But if Konami were to put another Christmas song on DDR...I'd *love* to see "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" by Elmo & Patsy. _________________

Been playing the Silent Hill Third Christmas Mix song so much I can double A on doubles, and still look like a goof, I need a santa suit...
Heh, it and the original are one and two on the players best song list all because of me.
I think a Christmas Oni course should be Eversnow, Frozen Ray, White Lovers and both Silent Hills with Third Christmas Mix as the last song. _________________

Hey! Great idea. I think I'll play those songs when I play on Heavy now. (heh, and try to AA/SDG them)
I never minded Silent Hill. It's never been one of my very favorites, but I don't hate it.
One of my friends joked around last year that he'd enter a freestyle tournament, pick Silent Hill, dress up as Santa, and throw candy canes out to the crowd. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

As far as the "3rd Christmas" subtitle goes for the song, think about when the original silent hill debuted (The hell would I know... I don't know DDR like everyone else) and when the song actually resurfaced (The hell would i know that either. I'll wait patiently for someone to aim a verbal machine gun and rip me to shreds with this).
Also, as far as I know it was first on 3rd mix, placed on 4th Plus and clawed it's way out of it's own coffin in Max2, hence being released again with an Oni Remix.
What do I think of the song? Teh Thomas Howard ownzers. _________________

absolutly, i love both silent hill mixes. Actually i love every song by Thomas Howard, Especially BALLAD FOR YOU. it is still my opinion the Thomas Howard is the best male vocalist ever. I even made an oni "Steeping Stone Walkway of Thomas Howard"
1 - Silent Hill
2 - La Senorita
3 - Heave is a '57 Mettalic Grey
4 - Silent Hill 3rd christmas mix
5 - BALLAD FOR YOU _________________

You forgot V. It's based on Vivaldi's Four Season's Winter. I probably wouldn't be able to do it on Oni, but I could certainly try it as a Nonstop...
The freeze arrows in 3rd Christmas Mix beat out The Shining Polaris because they require you to do fancy turns/crossovers, and then you have to do fun stuff with the non-freezing foot. They are the most fun freeze arrows ever!
I'm also puzzled over the name... but it's still an awesome song! _________________

I scared people the last time I played Silent Hill at Christmas.
I was a brown Santa raving with candy canes while failing Silent Hill. _________________

Tonight's the night for I love yooooooooooooooou.
Edit: New Kids on the Block=rules
Step One: We can have lots of fun.
The number 2 is a prime number, too.
I'll do that song in April if it means annoying/amusing fellow players. Why
wait until Christmas? _________________
