I finally saw a girl that was pretty good at DDR saturday.
I would like to see somebody better than me though. _________________

I'd like to see more songs with actual music quality, as opposed to the 300+ BPM crap Konami unloads on us. Granted, some of them are decent to listen to, but they tend to get really old, really fast. I think L.E.D. Light, Akira Yamaoka, and Sana would be good for clearing this problem up.
Give us back our E-Rotic songs. Now.
And seeing the background characters come back to the arcade versions would be nice. _________________

I've seen two girls around here in my year of playing that play on maniac/heavy...not including myself.
What I'd like to see is people using more of a variety of songs when they play. All I see is A. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

More songs from IIDX. They were really onto something with Extreme.
Oh, and girls. Lots of girls. _________________

There's this girl at Upland Nickel Nickel who is on heavy. She can do Cartoon Heroes(Speedy Mix) on heavy and get a B or lower, but she's not better than me though. |

Tomorrow Perfume. Oh, snap, they'd better...
There are characters in BGs, nowadays... How about a BG with Maho? She's just a little too cool.
Oh, and better resolution. Extreme, as good as it looks... Still kinda grainy. _________________

At my arcade, they have a little fan next to the screen on that little spot to the left and right. It's not very high-powered soon though, so when i'm done, i'll just sit on the machine mat and put it on my face and sit there for about 10 minutes. _________________

You saw me!!!!!!! Yay for you! There's been a Brood-sighting! LOL
Anyway, yeah, that teeny little fan next to the machine AND the Pretzel-maker 16 cent waters have been saving me from many a heatstroke at that arcade....hehehehe...but they need a nice big quiet box fan. THAT would bring in some appreciative players!
What I'd like to see though is more people being nice to the little kids trying to learn to play. On Friday, when I was taking a break from playing, these two girls around nine or ten got on after watching/idolizing( ) at me play, and I stood around and taught them how to play, pointing out the easy songs and showing them easy ways to step around the arrows. They must have spent about five - ten dollars playing and learning that game from me. I've created monsters, LOL! But they've started upon the road of the good side....
But it seriously isn't that hard to be nice to the kids who are genuinely curious about the game....I've seen way too many posts about how just their presence annoys most players. So I'd just like to see more patience at the arcades. _________________

Yes, we need more quality IIDX songs in DDR, as long as they're not chopped up too badly. Bringing back the old characters would be good, and it'd be nice to introduce some new ones.
Oh, and it'd be nice if DDR had individual videos for songs, like PIU and IIDX do. _________________

I'd like to see them put DDR in the Camp Hill Shopping Center.
But, though they'd have to put an arcade in first (I think so anyhow, it's been a while since I last went there), I'd prefer to see a DDR machine in Capital City Mall. It's more popular than Camp Hill Shopping Center.
I currently have to drive an hour to get to Park City Mall. I am not pleased about it. If DDR were closer to me, I'd go play it more often!
Until then, I have my home version. That's good enough for now. _________________

DDR in my school gym's weight room. It's never gonna happen, but still.
Seriosly, I'd like the ability for you to load your own songs onto a machine using Edit mode, not just your steps with the DDR songs. |
