In The Heat Of The Night and Cat's Eye were awesome.
Never heard Temple Of Love. Now I'm curious and must go find it. _________________

What about "GIMME GIMME GIMME", from 5th mix? hehe...how could you forget THAT jewl of song.
I actually like most of E-rotics stuff. A lot of it sounds the same but some of it is really rad.
Do it all night and Cats Eye are definitely my favs.
I've heard the E-rotic non-stop mega mix and wow....
"Oh Fritz I know you like my tits"
yeaaaah |

I don't think its the same lyrics, but there's an Abba song called "GIMME GIMME GIMME". Didn't e-rotic do a couple of their songs? |

I checked and E-rotic's GIMME GIMME GIMME isn't the same as Abba's. Completely unrelated songs (other then the name).
As for them covering any other Abba, I have no idea.
Any of you E-rotic experts want to answer that?
EDIT: I just read the article on E-rotic posted earlier in the thread.
Quote: | In 1997, It all changed, as E-Rotic surprised everyone with their 4th Album,
'Thank You For The Music', a tribute to swedish pop legends, Abba. |
So I guess that answers your question. hehe

I made some interesting observations today while listening to E-rotic (inspired by this thread). I found that almost ALL the E-rotic songs in DDR follow the same basic vocal formula. They start off with the women singing the chorus/first verse with some sort of catchy synth to go along with it. It always starts with lyrics exactly the same as the title of the song. Then the synth changes and the guy starts doing his rap bit. After that, it switches back to the women for a repeat of the chorus (sometimes adding a bit more lyrically).
The following songs follow this formula almost exactly:
GiMME GIMME GIMME
Test my best
Oh Nick please not so quick
Do it all night
Turn me on
Get these songs together on a play list or something, its pretty funny.
In "GIMME GIMME GIMME" and "Test my best", the synth during the rap section is almost EXACTLY the same. "In the heat of the night" starts off the same as the others (lyrics match title), but has no rap section.
Cat's Eye is the only DDR E-rotic song that is completely unique. Thats probably why I like it so much. I've never heard Temple of Love so I can't comment on it.
I'm not trying to bash E-rotic or anything either. I just find it interesting how similarly set up they're songs are. I think its pretty amazing how so many of their songs stand on their own and are so memorable while still following the same basic pattern. At the very least, they're all REALLY catchy. |

Hey, if you don't like it, that's your problem.

Cat's Eye has nothing to do with sex, nor does Moonlight Shadow, done by the same girl from E-Rotic.

Funny, it sounds pretty harmonic for splattering jizz.

Well, apparently you're not. By the way, watch what you say from now on.
