Hello, my name is Brianne...Brie for short. I've just been playing ddr for about a month now..and I'm inbetween modes right now light/trick mode.
The way it all started is that one of my friends invited me to go play one day...so I did and here I am...trying to get good !
I live in N.H. and I go down to Mass. to play at Good Times Emporium sometimes, but I play mainly at my house and in the archade.
This is just such a great game. Its the music, the lights...the energy that just draws you in ! I love it!

Graduated from Bronx Science and in the Honors program of Baruch. I got into DDR in june 2002 but didnt really play until feb or march of 2003. I can do up to 7 foot songs without much trouble. The rest i can do OKAY on... here to learn and pick up tricks and learn how to freestyle.

What up DDR world!
I'm Gerald and I am from Fremont, CA. (It's in the SF Bay Area)
I have been actively playing DDR for just about 9 months now. I decided in Feb of this year to purchase a soft pad for me to practice. As I started to get the idea to figure out to play, I got into playing DDR. The mix i got into was DDR MAX for US PS2. I can't play the older mixes because they don't offer those speed mods and the Solo mod. I'm spoiled with those mods!
I started to play on heavy mode around May or June I think. I can play up to 9 footers for now. The only standard song I can't pass is Maxx Unlimited!
I normally play at CVGL and MGL. I sporatically play at Southland Mall. I sometimes play at SFSU, RTA at Pier 39 (fisherman's Wharf), Shakers Pizza in Fremont which is waking distance from my house! And have a good deal where its $1.00 for 5 songs. I try to avoid Century 25 at Union City because there are no unlocks in that machine.
I think Q-Zar at Pleasanton is arguably the best place to play DDR Extreme in the Bay Area. As you can tell I like play everywhere in the bay! Anyway I hope to see some of you soon.

Hello...I've finally decided to register, after months of having scanned through the forums a zillion times. Yay me!

I'm Lisa, and I've been playing ddr for over a year now, ever since I got Konamix. So one could say I started out with home ddr...and I still mainly play at home (Max, Max2), but I'm trying to change that. The closest machine to me is a 5th mix, and I WANT EXTREME!! Well, 5th isn't so bad...at least it has Matsuri Japan But if I want Extreme, I have to go all the way to SVGL. Not really that far away, but when ya can't drive yet, it's just difficult to make it there often. Grrrr.

Yes...anyway. Where was I? Oh ya. About me. I tend to ramble often I'm an okay ddr player, at least when it comes to the home pads that I've been raised on. I can pass most heavys, except the insane ones like the Maxes and such. Perhaps with enough concentrated practice... but I tend to play more of the songs that I enjoy, such as Ghosts and Vanity Angel...both AAed. It can be frustrating though...my lil bro who's nine years old can pass EVERY heavy song on the US home versions. Oh well...I can still beat him on accuracy and scores. I get way more AAs than him. Heh. In the arcade, I'm slowly getting better. Playing the same heavys that I've AAed at home, I can get at least an A or B in the arcade. Needa improve though! I just need more practice...I've played in the arcade a total of...what, 20 times?

Eheheh... Well, it's only been a year. My domination of arcades is just beginning!! MuahahahahAH! And then perhaps one day, I'll become like one of these crazily good people who get to post their AAA pictures.

My friends are all well aware of (and often exasperated by) my ddr craziness, but I've also infected a few of them and caused them to buy their own home systems. Still, I'm the only total "ddr freak" in the group, so it'll be nice to have some company here, where I'm surrounded by ddr freaks. Hit me up if you go to Homestead Lanes for 5th mix! That's the closest arcade location to me.

I'm usually willing to chat when I'm not too busy, and more so if it's about ddr. Feel free to AIM me whenever I'm on.

(even though thats not my real name). im 15, small, asian, im a dude, ive been playing for a year and 3 months. im in nj. i play at willow. i like challenging songs like psm oni, maxx, and lom. im trying to AA them. too bad im small i only AAA one song, door of magic. my goal is to be just as good as 123kid...or even better. im still have a hell of a journey to go through though.

snake here, been playin' ddr for about 5 months now. i usually play ddrmax/max2 at home with my el cheapo pad made mainly of duct tape i can usually manage A-AA on a few standard songs, and i've just recently started getting into heavy (the only songs i can do in that mode are Dynamite Rave and I Like to Move It) i hope to get better soon!
