I am worst initially, and after a couple hours when fatigue starts to set in.

Right when I'm exausted, or after playing something I know I can't pass, like the max's, PSMO, Or AA'ing Cartoon heroes or Paranoia survivor max mirror(Without the bar, of course!). Damn me and my short endurance! E15.gif

when I first start playing I suppose. if I don't play something easy first my legs cramp up really badly.

and also I play really badly when I'm happy. strange, yes.

I'm at my worst when I'm emotionally sick...

...fatigue never impacts me.....

...but when I have too much on my mind I cannot focus and even my songs I can single digit great on...

...suffer drastically. As does my overall performance

This is actually a very n00bish trait in DDR, but I still do it sometimes

After jamming on a fast song like Afronova or Dropout, I usually don't do too well if the next song is significantly slower and easier (like 20 November, Put Your Faith In Me).

Reason being is because it's an "easier and slower" song, I don't put too much concentration into the song, and end up botching up a lot of the steps. I'm just used to the fast pace and difficulty from the previous song, so when I see slow moving arrows, I'm like "psshhhh ha this one is pie" and end up screwing it all up because of my lack of concentration.

It happens rarely now, but I was notorious for doing it back in the day. Especially prevailent on Nonstop mode or Onimode.

I'll have to agree with the people who have to warm up first. Sometimes I jump straight into something brutal like A or DXY! and I hit the back bar and it throws me off.

1) Bad day
2) Haven't played in 3 weeks... never gonna happen again
3) First two sets, unless it's gonna be a really good day.
4) Too much sleep... yeah, I know that seems backwards

I actually seem to get better as I'm going though... kind of like that energy that responds to desperation. Which makes me really good after about 4 hours of play and a gallon of sweat on the floor. laugh.gif

Fatigue never impacts you? First of all, from a physiological point of view, fatigue does affect you. Muscles do have limits on their capabilities whether you think you are special or not. Unless you get some sort of divine boost of energy via communal gift from sucking Him off. By the way, do you say grace before swallowing?

I usually start off good and then I get crappy after I get tired. Then after I take a break I'm good again but then after a while I get crappy (and tired) and it goes like that until I play so much that I've used up $20.00 (oops riiight.gif )

First song I play is when I suck badly because I am not used to the metal..takes me a song or 4 to get used to it.

If there is something haunting my mind I play bad...it's harder for me than usual to concentrate on the arrow movement.

Think I am special? For staying in tip top shape sure...nothing wrong with that...my pulse is at it's lowest ever...and playing DDR...I'm never tired after playing anymore...that's an accomplishment I didn't think I'd ever reach. Probably the only fatigue that hits me is...mental fatigue from focusing on getting my greats down to a small limit...sounds like flame bait to me...I'll have to report this to an admin. Thanks.

Why even bring abstract things into this post? For something that I accomplished that I'm happy about?

I'm still trying to figure out what the hell happened last week. Usually I'm just EXHAUSTED either right after or in the middle of a song like Max 300, and have to take like, a 15-30 minute break. But last week, I did HVAM, MaxX, MaxX, Max 300 as my four songs, all on Heavy, all in a row, with no breaks, and didn't even feel winded. I had witnesses too. It was glorious.

Oddly, if I don't get enough sleep, my endurance may go way down, but for some reason, my accuracy goes up. It's strange.

Ahhh, my first 4 songs are not good for anything above 9 footers, but spending another 2 bucks throws some elbow grease in the mix...
