What song gets played too much?

Where I'm from, the newbies tend to favour songs like butterfly, cartoon heroes and dam dariram.

The regulars usually go for the IIDX-based stuff.

It really depends on where you are...

For example, I'm a student at the University of Illinois: Urbana-Champaign, and the people that play play all sorts of songs. There's not really any "old" songs here, well, except maybe Sobakasu Freckles, but yeah.

Back at home, in the northern Chicago suburbs however.... blah

EVERYONE has to have the following songs AAA'ed or at least AA'ed or FC'ed or have to play it at least five times at the arcade:

Dynamite Rave (usually n00bs)
All the pies (wow how tired one can get from hearing them all day)
So Deep
Rhythm and Police
Tsugaru (n00bs)
A
Butterfly (n00bs again)
Matsuri Japan (revenge of the n00bs)
Healing Vision Angelic Mix (the n00bs strike back)
Sakura (n00bie n00bie n00bie, baby din0saurie

)

Hey now what's so bad with Cowgirl? It's not a bad song! I mean you guys wouldn't mind if a girl wanted to ride you, eh?

And the 'nova. Awww c'mon people it's a great song! (my first cata btw). I feel that's like the only song that based off of step charts, it's almost like a dance (the intro, the up right up down up left up sequence, the massive jumps, etc).

So yeah.

Can't Captain Jack: Grandale mix just die??? There's a guy....who plays it on standard...every......stinking......time.....he..goes......UP!
And what is it with Daikenkai? YOU MUST LOVE! Standard is fun. Same for Afronova. I like that jump pattern better than the Light one.

Ok Freckles wonderful song and everything but people COME ON STOP!!!! NO MORE!!!

Daikenkai, Dam Dariram, A, .59, Afronova, and everyone around here always plays Kind Lady on the final stage so they can AA it and get an extra stage because it's so easy but it has to be the most horrible song on the game.

I went on vacation where there were 3 DDR machines in the boardwalk arcades. So obviously, I went for the Extreme (the others were Max 2 and 5th mix). And here are the following songs that were either
A) Abused by one person playing 999,999,999 times in one day
B) Played by many players

1-Captain Jack (Grandale mix)
2-Speed Over Beethoven
3-End of the Century
4-Rhythm and Police
5-Afronova

I was bored because I was the only heavy player on the boardwalk. So I had to watch the same annoying steps of Beginner,Light, and Standard.

not nessecarily a hater of the song crash, cuz it aint bad on std, but heavy i hate it, lol. its not really hard....but more annoying to play to. not on std tho, however, i never do std anyways. i like freckles too
