Oh yes...
Also on MTV Cribs they don't really show DDR, but they've played a lot of licensed songs that were featured on DDR.
I heard almost every song from MAX2 US that was a license on one episode. At least Days Go By, The Whistle Song, and Love at First Sight.
I also heard Stomp to My Beat on one of the episodes. _________________

On G4 on the show Game On they had 4 people play DDR in a small contest thingy. They freestyled most horrendously (not that I can do any better but I know bad when I see it) and were told that they were GOOD.
Also on the show Filter it was ranked #10 in the top ten biggest time sucking games of all time.
...I love Diane Mizota

My husband was watching a movie last night called "Wasabi" and when I got home he says there was this really good movie on and it had DDR in it! It's a French film-dubbed in English with Jean Reno (the guy from The Professional)-It's kind of a comedy action film like Jackie Chan style-I found a DVD of it at my local hollywood video for $12(also available for rent)( If you look for it make sure you get the right one-on ebay and amazon most of the copies are region 1 with subtitles) Anyway the DDR scene last about 1-2 minutes and has the guy playing a song and a 1/2. If you want to see a clip-which has a very short preview of the ddr scene in it click here:
http://www.blockbuster.com/bb/movie/details/0,7286,VID-V+++257792,00.html?
go to the video clip.
MOM
ps-if the vid doesn't work for you try updating your divx codecs _________________

Those had already been overplayed in general before they were put on any DDR mix. _________________

Strongbad's Techno song has been redone for the soon-to-be-released CD and he says in the background Dance Revolution sounding slightly like Super Star!!!! _________________

DDR got mentioned by Alex Trebek (Go Alex!) in today's (11-11-03) episode of Jeopardy! Collage Championship. This girl who's hooked on it explains how the whole thing was done and how she plays in some amusement park every week and stuff. I never knew certain DDR players were so smart. I wish she would've mentioned DDRFreak.com.
BTW: This was done directly after the first commercial break. |
