Well I've had ingrown toe nails and that's from playing DDR all day, and I misplace my foot on a right arrow fallin and instantly failing Dam Dariram KCP. Back in the 5th Mix Days. Something to learn from me, never play all day cause the next day your calves are sore as heck.

The arcade next to the ddr machine was too close and I hit it with my knee. It hurt for awhile.

When I was playing Maxx Unlimited on DDRMAX2, I started to get a little dizzy in the middle of the song, and I almost fell off of it, my head hurt though, and i felt a little sick, and dehydrated...... Also, when I was doing the song Love This Feelin', I sprained my ankle thanks to all those darn jumps disgust.gif . And that was the first time I played the song on Light Mode! So many jumps!

My injuries are the fault of simple machine misplacement. At the new arcade, 8th mix is beside Skeeball.

Hmmmmmm well when I do play DDR it's only on the weekends.....so I play lots and lots...it's quite crazy....and after a while I play more and more my legs begin to turn to jello and there are times when I think I over work them and when I try to tighten my muscles together it feels like it's going out of place or being dislocated somewhat... that's the only danger that I've encountered so far..other than that stamina is never a problem and everything seems to be running very good for me right now.

I really screwed up my back and my ankle and knee joints. I played 32 songs on endless mode without any breaks on light and it felt like my knees were about to snap.

I guess the worst DDR injury was a really badly rolled ankle. I hit the edge of the pad and that was that. It was bad enough to not only stop me from playing, but kept me from walking for a while too. Interestingly enough, that ankle now sounds like a cement mixer if I move my foot around, but it never hurts anymore...

Hmm.. The worst I've gotten was when I was sitting on the bar and I swinged off it I landed wrong and I totally threw my lower back out and that was HORRIBLE disgust.gif It sucked to because it came back if I sleep wrong this lasted a month or two.. (All better now E4.gif ). Other times it's just probably a knee drop I do wrong (Which I hardly do knee drops, it's more out of habit than FS) Or simply over heat and wore out my feet if I play too long... Other than that No real pain and/or mistakes are made...yet erm.gif

I went to DisneyQuest shortly after my first time ever playing DDr, and did it for at least 4 straight hours. (Free Play....DDR....happy.gif) After that night of newbishness, I had never had such bad leg cramps in my entire life...of course, that was nearly 6 months ago, I do fine on 4 hour binges now. Still, it redefined pain for me.

I also went to the Altamonte Mall Theater a few months ago, and was trying When The Saints on Heavy...and I tripped off the 2 player side. It kinda hurt, and I failed the song, but I swallowed my pride and played again.

Other than that, no other DDR injuries.

I don't usually get pains from playing DDR, however sometimes I get this little pain in my upper right shoulder..doesn't really bother me.. but it happens frequently, anyone else get this?

note: My arms don't swing rapidly, etc, they tend to swing to the beat of the song.

when I first played DDR I would have trouble walking after Samba De Janiero on light. 4 feet on solo 2000. more recently I chaffed my manly nipples wearing the wrong shirt playing maxx unlimited std.

before I adopted flat footed playing, to do many many "dead end" like triplets killed my lower back since my back is not that strong since I kinda huched over to try and get a lower center of gravity because I wasn't used to moving that fast.

now that I do play flat footed and use my heel to step on arrows, it's my knees that feel sore after awhile instead of my back.

Like my momma told me, if it's not one thing, it's another.

Quite a few times while I was playing I landed on the side of my foot and couldn't walk for a few minutes without limping, but that's it pretty much.
