I notice the HV arrows under your "mods"...if you really like those arrows better than the default...what you can do is...rename the HV arrows to "default" and change the deault folder to "hv arrows"...so now when you play, you'll have those arrows and default and you wont always see that "HV arrows" under the mods you used...
I dont konw if you konw this, but if you press the (PrtSC, SysReq) button stepmania automatically saves screenshots into a folder (atleast 3.9 alpha 7 does) |

no problem ...but yeah, those arrows a so much better than default...they look just like the max 2 and extreme arrows...too bad there's no "true" solo arrows...like the ones from the arcade...hopefully someone will make them soon |

k if ya have alpha 7, then it should be on the stepmania folder (program files, stepmania, screenshots), there's a separate folder that named "screenshots"...they should all be there, the only problem is that they are saved as BMP files, which take up about 2mb, if ya open with paint and re save them as jpeg, you should be able to easily post em online. |

I played bag japan mix oni, and was struggling to keep alive...well, i kinda suck at DWI. I've AAAd every official ddr stepset, but hard fan made ones own me hardcore I mean i've heard of people AAAing BMR's gravity (which is pretty easy) but i can barely pass it...i've been playing DWI/SM for a long time now. I cant seem to get better |
all official songs are week. The best i've done on bag oni mix 20 greats full combo. _________________

Practice. (Period)
The only other tip I can give you is DON'T USE FUNKY ARROW KEY SETUPS. Just use the arrow keys or the numpad. That's IT.
As for Gravity.. I won't get within a mile of that peice of crap. It saddens me that that is actually a BMR song. My best on that is a high AA something, I don't remember, I hate that song.
One thing I noticed on this thread is that people aren't playing anything hard. It's only easy official songs(no, stealth shuffle isn't impressive when you can mash the arrows to a 1/8th note beat) or easy BMR songs like A or V. Play some hard stuff like Mwerp's originals or my originals or SKoR's originals or Cynic's originals. No, I don't care if you think payon v2 is "bullshit" because you can't pass it. It's still very on sync and passable and people have AA'ed it. |

This thread has made me a bit curious how much my hardest DWI, Monty on the Run, would challenge some of you. I can't consistenly pass it myself. However, that's not saying much. You can check it out at http://hawknest.stacken.kth.se:8080/dwi_stuff/monty.html |

Why the HELL do people play songs so much that they AAAA it
Play it, AA/AAA it, move on, find something harder
Edit: I just noticed the edit above. Nevermind. |
