WTF? Where are all the Bemani songs?! Those all look like American songs.....not even a hint of Japanese. Not even ENGRISH?!
This IS a Japan-only game, isn't it? It's just..........wow, I was really looking forward to doing karaoke to J-pop.... *sniff* _________________

A little line or two about what you don't like might help others form their oppinion. As for me, I have faith in Harmonix after playing Frequency and Amplitude. They can make great games, so I'll wait and see with this one. | i based my opinion on myself and thats that. i dont need to sing to play a music game. i can just play DDR or drummania or some other type of BEMANI game. _________________

People that hate Karaoke Revolution does so because of one or more of the following:
*Don't like singing.
*Can't sing worth shyt.
*Don't wanna learn how to sing.
*Don't wanna embarass themselves.
*Listens to too much J-pop. (but then they'd get the Jap version)

I'm gettin this game mofos. You better buy some earplugs. This is gonna be some fun shyt. _________________

Uhh, yeah, this is definitely the US version. Coming TODAY to game stores near you.
And seriously, it's crazy fun. Some of my friends and I spent practically a whole day testing it out. I can definitely see people improving their singing with the game, since it shows you how you're off in relation to the actual note and stuff. _________________

Yep, it's out today. You can get it at Target for $49 if you have the $10 coupon from the weekend. _________________

Show me this coupon!
And if you go to Konami's main website you can request songs to appear in some kind of expansion disc for Keraoke Revolution. I requested Keep On Liftin' and Remember You. I'm still working on Superstar.
EDIT: heres the link |

Does anyone have this game? Target and EBGames in Boston did not get it today. _________________

Is the Japanese version out? If so, what's the songlist for that? I'd much rather sing along to my favorite J-pop ^__^ _________________

Where is the coupon that people have mentioned, in the Sunday (11/02/03) newspaper ad for Target? Where I am at for college, I don't get one but at home I do, and I tried looking around Target's website on their "web version" of the weekly ad and I didn't see any coupons. Thanks. |

Are you sure the Japanese version version has been out for a year? My friend, who also happens to own TGA in New England, went to the last Tokyo Game Show, and he said Karaoke Revolution (the Japanese version) was on display as a "new release". Hell, he even has a little pamflet stating its late November release date. Something around the 22nd. _________________

Nah, I THINK the JP version has only been out for a couple months at most. However, they got like....8 or so versions all around the same time. :jealous: _________________

I remember looking at a certain import game website that said the JP versions of Karaoke Revolution were supposed to be out around October 18 or so. They ended up changing the date to November 20-something
I split the cost of Karaoke Revolution with my girlfriend today (had to get it at Gamestop for $70, Target didn't have the game OR any of the ads/coupons left...) The game is fun, but I really suck at singing, and I don't know the lyrics to many of the songs |
